Very convenient to many historical sites including Washington DC. Beds were very comfortable. Quiet and peaceful location. Kids enjoyed downstairs game room. Host was very available and helpful. Laundry area convenient. Back porch wonderful for relaxing
This was an excellent property. A great Master Bedroom and en-suite bathroom with jetted tub. Large open living area and screened in porch. Bedroom areas are separated by the living area. Fairly isolated and located on a treed lot. Stocked well with just about everything you need. We had great communication with the Host. We enjoyed the game room downstairs. This property is located close to numerous wineries and not far from Charles Town and sightseeing sites like Antietam. I highly recommend this property.
Polina and Roman were both very respectful of our privacy and responsive to our phone communications to address and resolve any issues that arose during our stay there. They maintain a welcoming chalet which we plan on using again in the future.
Very charming cabin tucked into a nice wooded community. Well appointed and very clean. Easy access to many activities including wineries, tubing, hiking, and historic Harpers Ferry. Had a lovely long weekend enjoy all of the above and the cabin was a calm and cozy home base.
INCREDIBLE property. Beautiful and extremely well maintained. We very much enjoyed the fire pit and barely left the house because it was so beautiful! Polina was extremely communicative and generous. We would definitely come back!
The property was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The covered porch was very nice. The check-in and check-out process was easy and the hosts were very friendly.
We loved the property. It was clean and large enough for our needs. The back porch was fantastic and the outdoor fire pit was also a great place to retreat to.
Our family of 6 adults were very pleased with this rental house. We enjoyed the living space, the game room, the screened-in porch, and the well-equipped kitchen. The beds are comfortable. We would stay here again if we come back to the area.
The house was a perfect spot for a get-away. We especially enjoyed the screened porch.
Close enough to hop in to Harper’s Ferry or to order DoorDash, but still felt rustic and cozy. I would come again.
We had a wonderful stay! The house was just as described. My almost 2 grand daughter made full use of the small trampoline, toys and highchair. That was a great bonus.
the house was well-organized and very clean. Our host and hostess had everything we could possibly need. firewood in abundance spices great kitchen appliances, cookware and more. We will definitely go back.
The chalet is exceptional! SUPER clean, lots of outdoor seating, a very quiet neighborhood. There are so many wonderful things that I have a hard time choosing my favorite. But for sure, high up on the list are:
- Whirlpool bathtub
- Fluffy bath towels
- Name brand shampoo and body washes
- LOTS of nice quality TP
- Pool table
- High quality sheets
- Excellent communication with the homeowner (plus they are super nice)
- Layout and architecture of the house
- Did I say that it's SUPER clean?
3 friends and I stayed for a long weekend. The house was great, especially the spacious main room and well stocked kitchen. The only hiccup in the listing (and it was minor) was the bed count. It said there was a futon but it was only a couch. We were able to manage without it, however. It was a very quiet and se luded spot and we really enjoyed our stay.
Exceptionally clean and well maintained property. Very quiet area , air conditioning is perfect, there is dirt road for .2 mile leading to the cottage with somewhat steep driveway. In my opinion fits the theme of being in the middle of the woods .
The patio is very nice because it is protected from widely prevalent insects with a screen all around. Simple touches reflect the taste of the owners : few variety of coffee beans that you can choose from to grind your morning coffee . Many board games for family activities while the table pool is located down stairs in addition to darts .
It is enough that it passed my wife strict definition of clean. Thank you Roman for your hospitality and care in making this enjoyable stay . Highly recommended
We loved our stay at this property with our two very young kids and my in laws and would definitely come back again. The furnishings and decor were wonderful and the home has a cozy cabin feel to it. The large windows let us enjoy the beautiful forest view. The screened in porch was great to contain the kids and enjoy a drink after dinner. It had a great kids room for our two year old and plenty of toys and a high chair. We also enjoyed taking the two year old on walks around the neighborhood since it is on a quiet street.
Polina and Roman are great hosts and responded promptly when we asked about a first aid kit to fix up our toddler after he took a tumble. I also appreciated that we were not given a ridiculous to-do list before leaving like some places require.
One reviewer mentioned the stairs may be hard for someone older but ultimately my in laws used the back patio stairs since there were fewer and once you are in the house, there’s no other stairs unless you head down to the game room.
HIGHLY recommend this spot. You won’t regret it!
