Upon receiving your email during your stay, we immediately contacted the local management team, who visited the property and resolved the reported plumbing issue promptly. We appreciate your acknowledgement of their swift response. With regard to the corkscrew, we are sorry to hear it was bent. It’s possible a previous guest had difficulty using it. While we do our utmost to ensure every item is in working order, smaller items such as this can sometimes be inadvertently overlooked. There is a well-stocked supermarket at the start of the resort, which could have offered a quick and inexpensive solution. We were surprised and naturally disappointed to see you left a 3-star review, particularly given your previous visit to the very same villa, when you awarded it a 5-star rating. As you were already familiar with the property, including its traditional style and original bathrooms, we would have been very happy to assist you in selecting a more modern alternative had that been your preference for this year. While the villa is indeed older in style, its popularity is testament to its generous outdoor space, character, and prime location in Vale do Lobo. We appreciate your honest comments and will of course continue to work with the owner on ongoing improvements. We did provide you with the contact number of the villa manager, and we highly encourage guests to reach out to the local team while in resort for any issues, no matter how small, so that we can resolve them promptly. We will also address the pool tile and air conditioning concerns with the property manager to ensure these are resolved for future guests. Thank you for bringing to our attention that the villa may not be suitable for wheelchair users. Like many villas, we only recommend those that are fully wheelchair accessible when requested by clients, and we always ensure that this is considered when needed. With regards to the cleaning cloths, it is correct that we do not list these as provided, but there is a wonderful supermarket at the start of the resort where you can purchase any items you may require for your stay. We are pleased to hear that you found several aspects of the villa enjoyable, such as the pool, grounds, and outdoor seating areas. This villa remains very popular, and many guests have stayed here without any complaints this summer, some of whom return each year.
