A former fisherman’s cottage, this Grade II listed property from 1785 has been lovingly renovated and restored in 2020. It has a special place in the hearts of the many visitors who come to explore, with many guests returning year after year. Come and see for yourself what makes this place so special. Tate Hill beach, where Dracula was said to arrive in Bram Stoker’s bestselling novel, is nestled less than 100 yards away. Take a stroll along the cobbles of Church Street, lined with antiques shops, inns and tea rooms, and climb the 199 steps that take you to the abbey and St Mary’s Church, with breathtaking views over the harbour and across to Sandsend. An award-winning beach stretches for miles before your eyes, it’s perfect for a family day of fun at the seaside.
