We've stayed many times at this little fishermans cottage, excellent location,small but very well laid out, and listening to the fishing boats leave on high tide, while snug Infront of the fire is peaceful.

Perfect from start to finish. The property is perched on the side of Whitby harbour looking out over the boats and quay side shops and cafes on the other shore. The house is fantastically located with the main shopping street almost right outside the door, but equally distant enough to make the stay quiet and secluded. The interior is very well kept, cosy and homely, with some lovely touches that make you feel welcome from the moment you open the door. The correspondence from the owner was professional, timely and informative and we would not hesitate to recommend this listing to other people. Overall - excellent.

Loved the location, especially sitting on the balcony watching activity on the harbour. Homely & impressively thought through with details such as the books being relevant to the location and a pair of binoculars conveniently placed near the balcony. Enjoyed being in the heart of the town which gave a base for walking around the area. Smooth booking and checking in process. Comfortable bed and good shower. Questions answered quickly by the host.

Lovely property overlooking inlet.small beach just below most of day.plenty of restaurants cafes pubs shops nearby. Parking a problem we had to use facilities by the abbey and walk down many steps to property. We were able to park for unloading/loading.My main problem was the spiral staircase which I found difficult to negotiate. Whitby full of very friendly people and lots of lovely dogs.

Stunning Accomodation that can’t be faulted. So quiet, calm and restorative. Extremely comfortable bed and seating, fabulous shower. So lovely waking up to the sounds of the waves on the beach. Would not stay anywhere else in Whitby. I do have osteoarthritis in the hips and back but managed the steps up to the upper floor with no problem due to the rope being there to steady myself with and not that many steps. Loved it

Fantastic cottage and location

We had a fantastic four nights stay at the cottage, it was clean and everything we hoped for, the decorations and facilities were spot on and the central location was perfect for us. I would definitely return and recommend to family and friends

Stunning fishermans cottage overlooking the harbour..beautifully decorated and very romantic..perfectly located to all the fabulous shops and restaurants that Whitby has to offer..we loved sitting on the balcony and watching the fishing boats coming and going..looking forward to another relaxing stay.

Absolutely fabulous place. The location is perfect, the cottage is beautifully decorated and really comfortable and the views are amazing. We were lucky to have great weather and the balcony was the perfect place to while away the afternoon.
