Bankside is an easily accessible ground floor apartment with luxurious décor throughout, in a contemporary style with a light traditional twist. A a spacious living/dining/kitchen area, shower room and two luxurious bedrooms. Set within Whitehall Landing, a sought-after development, there are communal grounds that can be enjoyed by guests and even a communal children’s play area to keep your kids busy on quieter days. The apartment has one allocated parking space but other visitor spaces are potentially available if needed. Unfortunately mobility scooters are not allowed on the site and there are no electric car charging facilities.

Whitby is one of Yorkshire’s most picturesque coastal fishing towns, with a bustling harbour, narrow cobbled streets, old fishermen’s cottages and historic abbey. This atmospheric place has plenty to offer visitors, whether you choose to experience the traditional seaside charm, or something slightly less conventional like the annual Goth Festival. Beach 1.7 miles. Beach 1¾ miles. Shop 700 yards, pub 500 yards and restaurant 350 yards.

Lovely apartment,Thankyou for the welcome pack,booked through hoseasons,all equipment you could want in the apartment including washer/dryer and dishwasher,spotlessly clean,free parking right outside,short walk into town,quiet and warm and a nice view of the river Esk,would definitely book again

WE had a lovely stay and our host kindly gave us some nice welcome gifts.

WE had a lovely stay and our host kindly gave us some nice welcome gifts. Great location, great having car park space, very clean and nicely furnished. Only downside which made it difficult for us to leave and come back freely to the apartment as there were 3 of us staying was that there was just 1 set of keys, we did ask for a spare on the Saturday we arrived and were advised to ring the local Cottages.com office in Whitby which was closed on Sunday and then on Monday tried ringing a few times but could not get through to speak to anyone, also emailed Cottages.com to request a spare set of keys but got no response.
