So If you Need some Soul Therapy, Secluded Relaxation, this is the place. Bullock Pen Lake is one of NKY's Premier Fishing, Kayaking & Paddle Boarding Lakes. Located in Beautiful Rolling Hill Farm Country, 15 minutes to Ark Encounter (16.9 miles), and in the heart of Verona's bustling Wine Country with Verona Vineyards (4.7 miles), Schoolyard Winery (2.5 miles), Brianza Garden Winery (5.6 miles) , Grape Vines Wine Bar (4.4) miles nearby. Gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Wash a dishes and put those in the drain, empty coffee maker, clean grill after each use, turn lights, AC units & wall heaters off, take all trash out to the outside trash can.
Pus all kayaks and equipment back where they were found. Lock doors & place key in lockbox.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

It may seem like you aren't at the right place, or that youre driving thru someone's yard, but once we got to the house, we had the best time. The directions were perfect, and the house was clean, and had everything we needed to have a great trip!

We enjoyed our time on the back porch overlooking the lake in the evenings. We watched the beavers swimming around the dock as well as the herring and rabbits. Very relaxing after a busy day at the Ark.

Wonderful view of a tranquil lake.

This is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the lakeview. It is nicely decorated, with a well equipped kitchen. Four women stayed there comfortably. My granddaughters loved the luxurious shower snd the free kayaks. I loved just sitting on the deck, and looking at the peaceful water. Though I live less than an hour away, it was a real vacation for me. We will definitely be back. Granny of Cold Spring,Ky.

This place is the perfect location with a large porch overlooking a lake. The view, including the wildlife, trees, etc., is a wonderful escape from all of the noise and busy pace of the city.

Lake house was clean and cozy. Supplied with things that you didn't realize that you forgot. Very peaceful and quiet. Right on the lake, which had great fishing. While fishing one night, three beavers swam right past me. Saw otters playing twice. Just a quiet, peaceful, great fishing place.

Driveway challenge

Everything went well. The property is nice. Inside the cottage is nice. Everything went very well. The only thing my wife and l found to be an issue and it may not be for other people but going in and out of the driveway it’s a big challenge and we did not look forward to it every time we had to go out and come back. Otherwise, it was a really nice stay on the property.

It creates joy for me to share my lakehouse with others who love to relax & enjoy the outdoors. It's the Perfect place to unpack your brain and let society's trappings release while kayaking, fishing, or doing Absolutely Nothing but reading a book, watching the wildlife & listening to the birdsong or wherever you find your personal escape. I enjoy being a host because I am also a fellow traveler, avid outdoorsman, kayaker, and long distance backpacker who Loves small sleepy off the beaten path places.
