What a fantastic stay! This cabin is a historic landmark that is very comfortable and well maintained. Teresa is an exceptional host making our stay relaxed and very comfortable!
Very comfortable, great location. I’ve stayed at places all around the country. I could live here. If you’re coming to South Dakota you have to stay here!
This cozy and historic CCC cabin is a step back in time but with easy access to the parks around Custer. It even adds to the experience to travel down a dirt road to get to it (well maintained county road). Wonderful host (Teresa) and comfortable rustic living. A highlight of our vacation in the Dakotas.
Amazing historic cabin nestled in the pines on a picturesque property. After visiting and fishing the beautiful areas of Custer, Hill City, and Keystone, we would return to the peacefullness of the cabin. We are so happy we decided to stay at Pine Crestr Cabin to celebrate our 27 yr. anniversary!

Thank you Rachel! So glad you enjoyed our Pine Crest cabin. Maybe you'll be back someday🤗.
We had a wonderful time at this property!! It was a perfect location for us to start from to visit sights in the area. The cabin was very clean and so incredibly peaceful and quiet at night!! Our kids loved watching the bunnies play in the yard and really enjoyed the ‘kids’ bedroom! Everything was clean, communication was smooth and easy, we would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area!!
The entire family enjoyed staying in this historic cabin. Such a peaceful location to return to after a busy day of all the fun activities offered in the Black Hills. The owners were fantasic and were super accomodating. We will definitely be back! Thank you to the owners for providing this wonderful vacation spot.
This was perfect for our family. We rented both cabins and enjoyed sitting outside and evening fires. It was a little farther off the road than we anticipated and took over 10 minutes to get to highway but once there easy access to all of black hills.

It was so nice to meet all of you! And glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Sorry, I thought you were aware that it is 5 miles off the highway.
Had everything we needed for a 1 week stay. We were on motorcycles, so FYI for others on bikes, its a 4.5 mile gravel road. Its packed gravel and we were able to go 30+mph on it. Very quiet, peaceful location. Would stay again.
Loved the cabin was up for elk hunt in middle of black hills right where we hunted with my family gorgeous skies snd stars great scenery wild life turkeys and deer right by cabin domestic rabbits fun to watch great fir small group of people heard elk calling
We stayed in this cabin 10 years ago and have such fond memories of that vacation that we came back. It was just as wonderful as we remembered.
Truly one of the loveliest places we've stayed. The cabin is very comfortable and the area is gorgeous. Lots to do in South Dakota.
Communication with the host was great and the whole process was easy.

Nathan and father,so glad you enjoyed your stay with us! And thank you for taking such good care of this cherished cabin🙂.
We stayed here for three nights to celebrate my 40th birthday. Tucked back in the mountains, it was everything I wanted with mornings drinking coffee listening to the elk bugling, and evenings by the wood-burning fireplace.
Great location in country side relatively close to many Black Hills attractions.
Fire pit is not level and therefore dicey.
Never ending parade of moths inside the house.
Host is responsive and helpful.

Sorry Grant about moths. When you rent a cabin in the woods the chances of nature happening are fairly good. They were even in our house in town this spring and summer. We do not use pesticides due to all the wildlife that live in the woods.
The fire pit has never had any complaints, sorry. Many nice vacation homes in town also!🙂
We had a great time at the Pine Crest cabin. Clean, comfortable, all the amenities for a great stay. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings, listening to the cattle, and the bunnies were there to greet us each morning. Great hosts. Couldn’t ask for a better stay. Thanks, Teresa.

This cabin is a piece of history and a must see! We enjoyed our stay here and felt right at home. The cabin has everything you need. The super host is a phone call away and willing and able to help if needed. I highly recommend this peaceful space for a getaway in the Black Hills!
I was looking for a place to disconnect, unwind and take in nature while spending time with my Father and Son. This place is as advertised. The charm of the cabin is even better in person. Peaceful surroundings but close to both Hill City and Custer. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a similar setting.
What a wonderful retreat from all the busyness of the area. Went and visited all the local spots and it was just so relaxing to come back to a quiet cabin. Beautiful star filled sky at night. Home was decorated so cute, just the perfect amenities. Washer and dryer was great, and the Wi-Fi was perfect for those times we did have to work before or after play. Enjoyed our stay very much, hope to come back in the future.
Neat little cabin with 3 bedrooms. Very nice area, extremely quiet right across the street from US Forest Service land. There was major flooding in the whole area during our visit and the cabin took on a little dampness, but the owners were very much on top of things. Owners were kind, easy to talk to, and responsive to our communications.
