The private yard and salt water pool offer panoramic mountain views. The location is close to Smoketree, Ace Hotel, Saguaro, Parker and the whole revitalized South Palm Springs area. We loved this property. It was just what we needed - stocked kitchen, all the right glassware and utensils, gorgeous pool and spacious bedrooms/closets. Each room had its own AC unit and even the loft did not get too hot. It was quiet with beautiful views of the stars at night and only about 10 minutes from PS proper. It was also impeccably decorated with every detail giving you Palm Springs retro! Would stay again.

Home was mid century modern Fabulous! Fully equipped with all essentials required for a relaxing stay, well maintained and stocked. The pool, yard and outdoors are absolutely breathtaking with the added bonus of a magnificent view of the mountains. Communication with owner was always timely and accommodating to requests. Use of garage to park my vehicle was perfect. Four mature extremely nitpicking women had a wonderful stay/blast at this VRBO and highly recommend!

Why they chose this property

I always dreamed of buying a vacation home in Palm Springs to get away from the cold Summers (and Falls, and Springs and Winters!) of San Francisco. When two friends of mine told me they were planning to list their home for sale, I jumped at the opportunity. The house is in one of the premier neighborhoods in South Palm Springs and has amazing proximity to everything. The fact it was a mid-century home with great bones that needed just some TLC made it a dream come true!

What makes this property unique

The second story loft bedroom is my favorite because its an anomaly among mid-century homes. The original owner was an artist and illustrator who built it for her studio because of the great light off the mountains. She did this before Sonny Bono passed the law forbidding second stories on mid-century homes. The purists hate it and have asked me to remove it, but I said no way!
