Everything was great! Many things in walking distance, home has plenty of space, host is very responsive. Would highly recommend this property. Only critique is that the price is listed in British Pounds rather than US Dollars.
Wonderful historic property in fantastic location. Excellent communication with host and super smooth check in & check out. Lots of very close and easily walkable parking options if your car won’t fit in garage. We found the memory foamStyle beds to be extremely comfortable. House itself needs some attention and interior could use a deep clean along with updating and refreshing some of furniture items but a lovely experience and we enjoyed our stay!
You can’t ask for a better location! We walked to downtown, Millenium Park, and Old Town. The property is gorgeous and a taste of old Chicago with beautiful woodwork and huge bedrooms. The six of us had our own space and were very comfortable.
The property was fantastic, exceeded expectations! It was very clean on check-in, and the host communicated quickly and clearly. I would definitely stay here again; it felt luxurious and very special. I loved the high ceilings and beautiful architectural details. A/C worked well, especially for an older building, and the box fans included in each room made it extra comfortable. There are lots of mirrors, including full-length mirrors, which made it ideal for a girls' trip. Another bonus was that I found it to be very soundproof; the walls must be thick because I did not hear any noise from outside or from my fellow guests moving around. Some members of my group were night owls, and others were early risers, but I still got great sleep due to the lack of noise. I am a light sleeper, and someone showering in the bathroom right next to my room still did not wake me up! The neighborhood was friendly and extremely safe.
This was an amazing place. Beautiful architecture, tons of space for a large group, well appointed kitchen with everything we needed, comfy beds, easy communication with the management. Thank you for a great stay!
Beautiful neighborhood close to Restaurants bars and shopping. This VRBO is lovely inside with lots of space and a well stocked kitchen. Anytime we asked a question the host responded almost immediately. We had a wonderful time here and we highly recommend.
You could not ask for a better location if you want the city-feel. We loved it! Restaurants and shops are just walking distance away. The house is gorgeous. It's an updated home that was originally built in the 1890s. It's a classic.
