Home includes central air, color cable, wi-fi, washer and dryer, whirlpool, outdoor shower, deck, gas grill, fireplace, large yard, beach chairs and full kitchen. Bedrooms include master with queen bed, upstairs bedroom has an additional queen bed and downstairs has two twin beds..The house has everything you might need. Ridgevale is a premier beach, with the warm waters of Nantucket Sound and an inlet called Buck's Creek, making it one of the best beaches for children and adults. Chatham is an especially great town and considered a destination because of all it has to offer. There is a public golf course, tennis, movie theater, baseball league games, plays, boating, fishing, hiking, biking trails and more. Enjoy all Chatham has to offer in a comfortable home.

Chatham for the Fourth of July

We had a great week in Chatham the weather was perfect. The house was down the street from ridgevale beach. My kids love that beach because they spend time looking for crabs and shells it’s just a great place.

Excellent rental in Chatham. Easy check-in/entry. More than enough space for a family of 4.Photos at time of rental do not convey this, but backyard space is shared with neighboring house, so not entirely secluded, even though quite private and a nice space and deck to sit outside.

Our stay was fabulous! The location was excellent—an easy walk to the beach! The cottage was cozy, very clean and comfortable, and came with everything we could want…in the kitchen as well as for the beach. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for one week and it was just as advertised. The biggest perk of this property is the proximity to the beach - a short walk or drive. Tight on space, but nothing was misrepresented in the photos and description. Overall, a pleasant place to stay during a great beach vacation!

Nice beach cottage

This is a good-sized cottage with an easy, 12 minute walk to the beach. Kitchen was well-stocked and we had everything we needed for a 2 week trip. Highly recommend!

House is well appointed and perfectly located for all that Chatham and the cape have to offer. Kitchen is well stocked to make eating at home easy, beach chairs available for trips to nearby Ridgevale, convenient laundry facilities on premises, central AC makes it comfortable. House could be cleaner and less musty, but overall a good find.

Just what we needed

We had such a wonderful time staying at Elaine and John’s home. It was the perfect size for our family and had all the amenities we needed. It’s on a quiet, private road which meant our daughter could ride her bike safely in the street. The home is about .5 a mile from Ridgevale Beach which we biked/walked to. Our daughter spent 5+ hours each day we went to Ridgevale Beach playing in the lagoon area. We definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing week near the beach.

Overall pretty nice spot to spend a week, very close to an awesome sound beach. Place is small for six adults and none of us were over 5'10. For example, the kitchen and deck tables can not fit six people for meals. It's a connected house to the neighbors, making the backyard extremely small/not private. Grill needed to be de-rusted before use. Kitchen had basic supplies however cookware needs replacement. Bed in decent shape. Nice physical location however the rest of the rental left more to be desired especially for the price

Good Location

This house is in a very good location-a little over a half mile from a nice beach (especially if you have small children) and 7 miles from downtown Chatham, which has good shopping and restaurants. House was a bit small for our group (6 adults) but would be perfect for 2 adults with 3 or 4 children. Nice-sized master bedroom , 2 small bedrooms, 2 small bathrooms and an outdoor shower. Small kitchen, living room & deck. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Quiet and Relaxing

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Chatham. We enjoyed the quiet offseason vibe. Walked to the beach every day. Perused the shops in Chatham one day. House was comfortable and well stocked with all of the necessities. An abundance of spices to cook with. A nice deck!! Our hosts Elaine and John were easy to work with. Would recommend.

Perfect cape house

This was our first time to the Cape and we couldn’t have asked for a better home. It was everything you think of when you imagine the Cape. And being able to walk through the beautiful neighborhood to the beach was amazing! We will definitely be back!

Great place, beautiful location, fantastic hosts

We had a great week staying here, just before season started (we got very lucky with the weather for the first 5 days, too!) Location is great - Ridgevale is a good beach a 15min walk away and, if driving, many more Cape Cod beaches are within an easy 30 min range. It is a 5 minute drive to a super market and many great restaurants are very close. The house is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and had all amenities we could wish for. While it is not huge, the space is very well partitioned, well maintained and was perfect for our family of four. Communication was great - in addition to good contact before getting there (including receiving a full list of what to bring etc), we also had a few questions after we arrived and always got timely, friendly and helpful responses! Btw, we spent a lot of time on the beach, but wifi / internet was superb when we needed it.

The house was clean and had pretty much all we needed. It provided for a very enjoyable stay. The only thing missing was we could not get the internet to work. It would also be useful in the listing to let it be known you need to bring your own sheets and towel. I was already on the road when I found this out, thank goodness the friends I was meeting up with were able to provide these things. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.
