An old-fashion Cape vacation set in a secluded village of quaint, privately owned cottages on 4 acres of pine forest located on White Pond. This true Cape cottage is ideal for a couple or a small family. It has a complete kitchen/ living area with a pull out sofa bed, one bathroom, one bedroom with 2 twin beds, a large sunroom, outdoor shower, and an outdoor seating area. It's complete with cable TV, streaming TV, DVD and free wifi.

This location is just minutes away from the beautiful town of Chatham which has fabulous restaurants, shopping, band concerts, golf, tennis, Chatham A's baseball, bike trails, ocean beaches, and boating. White Pond is also great for swimming and fishing. This is a quiet getaway hidden from the hustle and bustle yet close enough for all of the activities of Chatham...

The perfect spot for a small family looking to stay in the best area of The Cape. Very close to the action in Chatham, clean, and very cute. Although it is small, you have plenty of space. We will be back!

Good location, fun restaurants and center of town right nearby. Listing is accurate, it's not very big but it's complete and we had everything we needed. The outdoor shower is great, we hiked around the pond (lake?), went to the beach with friends, visited with family. The roads on the Cape are crowded. We enjoyed our stay.

Tara was great to communicate with - quick to respond and easy to coordinate with throughout our stay. The location is tucked away in a wonderfully quiet spot (the street number is on a mailbox behind a pole, so keep an eye out!). The neighborhood was peaceful with friendly, respectful neighbors, which made the whole visit feel relaxing and welcoming. The place had everything we needed and was in the perfect location to get to other parts of Cape Cod. Perfect setting for a mother-daughter getaway. Highly recommend

Old exit 11 is really exit 85–old exit 11 was not listed to see—-important info to have. Arrived late at night as our flight was delayed—-didn’t know the windows were open and woke to rain and wet areas. Entrance off the Main Street is very easy to miss—-poor lighting

We loved everything about the cottage. You can walk to local restaurants and shops. It is convenient to all areas of Cape Cod. The environment it’s peaceful and friendly!Can’t wait to go back next year!

Great Location!

Captain’s Haven cottage was perfect for a weekend fishing trip. Close proximity to local beaches and near some great dining in Chatham. We had a great stay, would highly recommend.

Chatham cabin

The cabin was in a great location and perfect for our needs. Our host was responsive and the cabin looked clean. I liked that it was in a quiet area but still close to the center of town and town beaches.

Quaint Cottage.

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It is small but just the right size for us!! The little lake is right near by with a grill and picnic tables. Beds were comfortable and the town of Chatham is a long bike ride or car ride with beaches nearby. So cute and comfy!! Thank you, Tara (and her brother who was really nice and helpful!)

Perfect stay in quaint cottage!

This is the perfect cottage for a little getaway! It was not our first time staying in Waterview Colony, but our first time staying in this cottage. Great place in an awesome location

I came here with my sister and our friend for a girl's weekend, and we loved it. It's really well situated, and the host and their family were so sweet and helpful. The only issue is the bedroom has a skylight, and windows with no curtains so it gets very bright in the morning. I would suggest bringing an eye mask to sleep. Other than that, it was the perfect place.

Peaceful retreat

Cozy, quiet cottage perfect for two people and just minutes from downtown Chatham & Lighthouse Beach. We made a stop at Trader Joe’s on the way in for provisions. Kitchen includes a full fridge, microwave, stove, toaster and coffee maker. We didn’t recreate on the pond but did walk the short distance to its bank and were pleasantly surprised by how picturesque it is.

The quintessential cottage

Since initial contact with the owner this has been the most positive experience. Questions were answered and the property was exactly as described. The lake was such an added bonus and the community at the location friendly and inviting. We arrived to an immaculate cottage with clear directions and information provided by the owner. My boys loved the cottage and location and we will surely return. Five star experience and stay. We are so appreciative to have found and booked this property. Wonderful owner experience. Perfect little cottage

This was our first stay in this sweet cottage, but a return to Waterview Colony. The cottage was the perfect size for two people and suited our needs well. It was clean, cozy, comfy, and quiet. We enjoyed the outdoor shower and deck! The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, and appliances, but be sure to bring along pantry staples if you plan on cooking a bunch. Our only request would be to add curtains to the bedroom (if you're an early riser, the light shouldn't be an issue of course :). ) We hope to return next year!

Great little hideaway!

We enjoyed our stay and the amenities were perfect. The shower inside is for shorter people. I am 5'9 and the ceiling of the shower was not far from the tope of my head, but it was very nice and a lot of hot water!!! My husband is 6'4" and could not use it, BUT AWESOME outside shower, he had no complaints at all about it. We brought a kayak and paddle board which was so much fun on White pond , just a very short walk out the front door. It is so charming and we would rent again in a heartbeat. We have a 10 year old and 14 year old and they had a great time. Such a great location to everything. The host was very responsive as well, but once we got there we did not have any questions at all. She had taken care of all of it. The beaches nearby could not have been more perfect as well! We usually stay up in Eastham but I think we found a new location for ourselves in Chatham!
