This vacation cabin and cabin rental located in Strawberry near Pinecrest, Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort is spectacular! If you are looking for a large luxury cabin rental ON THE RIVER we think that you will love this cabin! Located directly on the south fork of the Stanislaus river 30 miles east of Sonora, CA on highway 108. Come once, come for a life time!

A cozy, warm, 100% natural pine, 2500 square foot cabin at an altitude of 5200' with all of the amenities of a modern resort! Fully stocked kitchen, five bedrooms, three bath, family room and kitchen nook. Hardwood floors, granite and marble everywhere! Great for larger families! Also has over 1000 square feet of decks for your outside enjoyment! This cabin is so close to the river you can fish from the deck into our own hole!

Also includes satellite TV in three rooms with big screen TVs in two. In the kids bedroom, there is a separate TV just for video games. There are three decks with chairs and tables plus an industrial gas BBQ. Sits on a super private 3/4 of an acre. Look at the pictures, you will be hard pressed to find another
neighbor!

What a serene riverfront property! The location is perfect for fishing, hiking, taking a short walk to Strawberry for a drink, or simply relaxing on the deck with a good book. We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our trip. The location was beautiful and made for a relaxing getaway.Jim was an excellent host—easy to reach, responsive, clear in his communication, and very knowledgeable about the area. He provided helpful recommendations and made the entire experience smooth from start to finish.The nearby lake was fantastic .For future guests, I would recommend bringing beach towels, as the towels provided are intended for shower use. It tends to get cold in the evenings, although the cabin’s heating system works very well and kept us comfortable. Plenty of local hikes and things to see. Also about two hours from Yosemite. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, well-equipped cabin in a beautiful setting.

My family had an amazing weekend at this cozy cabin. It was warm upon entering and everything was just as described from the photos and description - you just need to bring yourselves, your clothes and food. There was plenty of space for 10 of us and two dogs. We especially loved the porch area and the river right in the backyard! Host was very friendly and easy to contact. Would stay here again...I'm sure it would be a fun in the summer as well as Pinecrest Lake is nearby!

Our family of 10 spent 5 nights at this great cabin and loved every minute of our stay. Jim was the perfect host, available via text message throughout our stay, helping us survive a power outage and 5’ of snow. The generator kicked in right away and the heaters kept us warm and dry. Jim even came to help shovel us out once the snow stopped. It was a fun adventure!

Jim went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay. I took my family up to the snow for the first time and we had the trip of a lifetime. It could not have worked out better. I'm so grateful for Jim being so accommodating to us. The house is a wonderful location for fun in the snow, plenty of space but also cozy. Jim was exceptionally responsive and communicative. This was a lovely cozy cabin. Nothing fancy, just everything you need and a really cool riverside location. Communication with Jim was also excellent. We happened to be there during a snowstorm, and he was very helpful to make sure we navigated it safely. We’d love to try to go back in the summer :)

We had an absolutely amazing few days at the Briner cabin. Sitting on the decks with a gorgeous view of the river allows you to relax and unwind. We even saw a family of deer. Hope to be back:)

The riverfront decks were our favorite place to hang out. There were plenty of beds for everyone. The “luxury“ futon may be a bit of an overstatement but overall the house was great for our family of 11 people.

This is by far one of the BEST VRBO rentals we have ever stayed in! We absolutely LOVED the place. It exceeded our expectations for location, amenities, cleanliness, coziness....just everything you could hope for in a rental. We will be booking again as soon as we're able.Upon driving up to the cabin, we could see that it was situated right on the riverfront as stated in the description. The cabin was clean, charming, well appointed, cozy and roomy. While we only stayed in the 1st floor, there is room upstairs for at least 8 other guests if not more and aside from the bathroom downstairs, there were 2 more full bathrooms upstairs. The sunroom off the 1st floor bedroom is so cozy and surrounded by windows to watch the beautiful river and pine trees....perfect for reading. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need for cooking. Modern countertops and appliances. Comfy couches and recliner in living room, gas fireplaces that turn on with the flick of a switch for heating. Everything is done right in this cabin.The large decks had so much room and looked out over the river & forest. The lower deck next to the river was a great place to relax, sun and fish a little. Great place to relax!Jim was a fantastic host, responded to texts about check in promptly and left us alone unless we needed anything. Just a wonderful place, wonderful and relaxing stay and overall positive experience. Can't wait to go back!
