The photos in the listing are of the local mall entrance. The actual building is run down and not a nice neighbourhood. We felt misled by the listing and were really confused finding the place because the photos of the outside didn't match. The unit is downstairs and close to the front building entry door which is metal and slams. I have never had an issue with photos misrepresenting the accommodations but will do street view checks when travelling from now on.

Amanda, VRBO automatically altered the organization of the images using AI, and we realized that the cover image you used was an image of the spaces near the property, which we usually include so that guests can see the surrounding areas for their daily lives. We realized this after reading your review and have correctly repositioned the images. We appreciate your feedback, as we strive to provide an accurate view of our offering, which was not the case as described above, and we deeply regret it. We are grateful that you were able to provide us with a comfortable space, given the absence of any comments regarding its comfort and cleanliness.

Host was great, and instructions for checking/out were clear. Very compact space, but perfect for a quick stay before flying out. Proximity to the airport couldn’t be better.

Great place for a short stay near the airport. Not much around but very convenient to go to the airport. The place is small but lots of amenities and is well organized. It is also located in a basement but the AC worked great.

Studio

Minutes from the airport, this is a great little place It was clean and very well stocked for the weary traveler. It has all the essentials like coffee, bottled water, and all the cooking necessities. The bed is comfortable with a great supply of linens. The best towels of our entire trip. All the comforts of home. My wife and I highly recommend staying here.

Carlos was very friendly and helpful to ensure we had no difficulty entering the apt. The listing is totally accurate as advertised. It's small but perfect for just sleeping overnight for one or two nights. Ideal for one person. It was not difficult to take transport from there to Sintra.

Great Little Place!

Very clean, inviting, comfortable. Small space, but that was just what I needed. Close to airport. However, listing says it's about a 7 minute walk, but it was 23 minutes. Still very close. Excellent communication.

Close to the airport

Communication was very good. Very thorough arrival instructions and someone who met us there was extremely helpful. Carlos provided great tips for convenient food and shopping options. The apartment was clean and inviting. Everything needed for a good stay. It is a small space for a couple with a lot of luggage.

Cute place

I booked this unit for a quick stay in Portugal. I walked to the city center, though busses were nearby. I was happy there was a washer/dryer in the unit, that was great. For the short time I was there the unit suited my needs perfectly and I’m glad I found it. Thank you :)

Very close to Lisbon airport but not noisy

Very small studio apartment but pretty well stocked and a good use of space. Some neighbors were noisy, but host has no control over that. I would have liked more glasswear and only one coffee pod was there for 2 people. Several close places to get coffee and pizza. Parking was hard, but not impossible. No airport noise at all.

I'd come back again

This is exactly what I needed. Close to the airport, just the right size for me. It's like a little hotel room, at an affordable cost. Carlos is a gracious host. Automated check in would be helpful. Hallway going down to studio often smells heavily of cigarette smoke. Otherwise, a great little space.

Everything was neat and clean. We appreciated being able to use the washer/dryer combo right in the apartment. We arrived after midnight in a taxi from the airport, and someone was there waiting for us at the door to the building. We only stayed for one night. FYI: It is a basement apartment with steps down from ground level.

This unit is really tiny!

We could barely get around in the unit. My side of the bed was against the wall. We had no where to put out luggage. Coffee was only available for 1. This unit should only be for 1 person.

Rough neighborhood

The apartment was clean and nice, but quite small. The apartment building is in disrepair. Having to meet Carlos at a specific time for the keys (3) was a level of stress we didn’t need. I regret choosing this place. But it was close to the airport.

Hello, We corrected the photos, you confused the building's facade with the photo of the facade of the "Olivais Shoping" shopping center that we recommend to our guests and which is 600 meters away, the situation was corrected and we added a photo of the entrance door and a photo of the building ( The space is small, but we indicate the measurements in the advertisement (20 sqm). We had the problem of check-in being in person, but we spent three days having an automatic check-in procedure. We seek to improve and we regret the anxiety that created your check-in, we indicate our emergency telephone number, you could have called us. Sincerely, Carlos
