The cottage is in a good location for walks and visiting interesting towns without travelling far.The lounge and kitchen area is comfortable. The bedroom less so due to one side of the bed being against the wall.

Beautiful clean cottage, located right near a local pub that does great food.

Beautiful clean cottage, located right near a local pub that does great food. The host Judith was extremely welcoming and explained about the amenities and local things to do.The cottage was very cosy and helped by the heated floors and log burner.

We stayed at The Old Damson Tree Barn for Christmas (5 nights) in total.

We stayed at The Old Damson Tree Barn for Christmas (5 nights) in total. It was one of the most enjoyable times we have had.The cottage was well equipped throughout.. The underfloor heating was fantastic and there was a wood burner but we were warm enough so didn’t need to use it.The kitchen was newly fitted and so was the shower room.As it was Christmas the owner even put up decorations including a tree near the window which was amazing. The location was at the edge of the village but only two minutes walk to the friendly pub called The Sycamore Inn which also had a small shop inside.Parking was excellent loads of room at the front of the house. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner Judith who was very friendly and explained what we needed to know about the cottage and then left us to get on and enjoy this lovely place. We could go on but this cosy cottage is fantastic so much that we are coming here again in the Summer.A big thanks to Judith for making our Christmas a one to remember 🎅🏻🎄❤️
