Casa "EL Fraile" Parque Natural Cabo de Gata

A typical rural house in the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, situated in a magnificent scenic setting just a few metres from the sea, in the very peaceful 18th-century village of El Pozo de los Frailes.



The house, located in the historic district, is an example of Mediterranean architecture—renovated and well-preserved—characterised by single-story structures with simple, rectangular shapes, few openings in the facades, and white-painted or whitewashed exteriors.



From here, you can enjoy both the wonderful beaches of Isleta del Moro, Los Escullos, San José (Cala de los Genoveses, Mónsul, Media Luna, etc.), Rodalquilar, Las Negras, etc., as well as the region’s distinctive inland areas, including volcanic landscapes, the Cortijo del Fraile, the Rodalquilar mines, the Níjar watchtower, and much more...



The house features a terrace, a double bedroom, a living-dining room with a double sofa bed, a kitchen, and a bathroom.



“El Fraile” is the name our family has given to this beautiful spot, from which you can see the old waterwheel, the washhouse, the cisterns, and the church.
