The Apartment
A lovely, light and airy apartment with two double bedrooms in a beautiful Victorian terraced house in the heart of beautiful Notting Hill. Recently decorated and with access to magical private gardens so you can live out your Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts fantasy without having to climb over the fence! On a quiet street but very near hustle and bustle of Portobello Road. Live the film!

The apartment sleeps four comfortably in two equal sized double bedrooms with queen beds. Perfect for two couples or a family with kids (of any age!).

Neighbourhood overview
For those who have seen the film Notting Hill, they won't need explaining what makes it a picture postcard perfect example of London at its best. Tree lines streets, old Victorian gas lamps, magical communal gardens between each block, charming pubs, trendy restaurants and bars, Portobello with its world famous antique shops plus Westbourne Grove with its designer boutiques. I could go on for ever...

Getting around
And also really convenient for central London. A 10 minutes walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, a 15 minutes walk to High Street Kensington and its shopping. A 20 minutes walk to Westfield and its huge shopping centre. And a 25 minute bus ride (or 15 minute subway/tube) to Marble Arch and Oxford street.

I live in a different house so apart from giving keys and answering any questions you will have the house to yourself. But I am always on email or phone should you need anything - such as a recommendation for dinner or even a good play to see in the West End!

Perfect spot to see London!

Our family had a wonderful time visiting London while staying in Tass' flat in Notting Hill. The location of his place couldn't be more ideal. The flat is on the 3rd floor (no lift!) and the living room overlooks a lovely garden. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is modern. The kitchen has pretty much everything you'll need to make meal at home, and there is a dishwasher and laundry machine. The neighborhood is absolutely adorable; the little shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs are all around you when you step out the door. It is safe, with lots of families walking children to school in the mornings, yet it is vibrant with plenty to do. It is a perfect location to see all the historical spots in London, and is walkable to Kensington Palace and High Street shopping. Tass' and Betty are communicative and very friendly. We highly recommend!

Wonderful experience!

The flat was clean, well cared for and welcoming- everything we needed. Access to a lovely, private garden was delightful! The location in Notting Hill was absolutely excellent and the tree lined street was beautiful. What was most exceptional was our responsive and kind host. He truly went above and beyond in communication and helpfulness. This was very appreciated! We would definitely stay here again.

Good value for money but needs some TLC

Apartment was very clean and communication with the host was fine, however the place itself really needs some TLC, tv entertainment needs updating as it’s not working as advertised, the oven needs replacing as it’s nearly impossible to use, not many kitchen utensils provided to do basic cooking like breakfast/branch. Good value for money and good location.

Excellent location

This is potentially a good flat in an excellent location. We stayed there from the 14th - 19th January 2020 to celebrate birthdays. We had a number of issues resulting from a lack of routine maintenance. We have been in contact with the owner who at the time of writing this review (mid-February) is in the process of resolving the problems and has offered us some extra days free to make up for our disappointment. Once the maintenance issues are fully resolved we would certainly recommend the flat and give it an overall rating of 4 or 5 stars

Amazing Notting Hill apartment

Our stay at this apartment in Notting Hill was amazing. The flat itself was wonderful. It was clean, spacious and had everything that we needed for our stay from excellent wifi ,to access to a beautiful shared private garden. The communication with the owner was the best that I have experienced and he could not do enough for us. The information provided and the location, made our first visit to this part of London a breeze and we would certainly recommend and return soon.

Weekend break in Notting Hill

Excellent property in a perfect location for trendy bars, restaurants and of course Portobello Road and the market. Lovely bonus of the private gardens to enjoy too. Tass, the owner has been very helpful with useful info and tips and easy to contact. Would highly recommend 👍

Thanks so much for our stay. Communication with Tass was welcoming , clear and always swift. The flat was the perfect landing pad for us in London. It is in a fun and vibrant part of town with many great shops, delicatessens and restaurants on the doorstep . Fabulous.

Very comfortable, amazing location and perfect host

This place was perfect! It was comfortable for 4 people. The kitchen area is a bit small and be warned there is no microwave. However this wasn't too much of a deal breaker for us as we weren't intending to have meals in the flat. Even then we were still able to make up some hearty breakfasts. We stayed over the Notting Hill Carnival weekend and this flat is situated right in the middle of it just off the main route. The flat is a short walk from three stations, supermarkets, amazing restaurants and the world famous Portobello Road. The private garden you get access to was a little gem. It's so calm and serene even with the madness of the carnival happening right next to it. Finally a special mention has to be given to Tass the owner who is probably one of the best I've dealt with. He was incredibly friendly, very fast at responding and offered a lot of information and advice especially when it came to the carnival. I can't recommend this place enough and we would definitely look to stay there again on our next visit.

Trip of a lifetime!

I have always wanted to visit London. My son and I wanted to stay in Notting Hill since it was convenient to so many shops, restaurants, and close to the Tube. The property was clean and whenever we had questions the owner responded immediately.

Much to see and do in the Portobello Road area and this flat is right around the corner. It is up 3 flights of stairs if that matters to you. Kitchen is well equipped and everything you need for your stay is provided. Great communication and house manager met us for check in.

This was our third stay at 14 Arundel Gardens, and we continue to love it. The garden view from the living room and the sunrise view from the bedroom offer a peaceful connection with nature— even on a rainy January day.

Wonderful Stay!

This brightly lighted flat has nearby grocery stores, a book store, a butcher, bakeries, liquor stores, flower stand, and restaurants-- everything one could need. The flat was great. Bedding was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the lounge spacious. We stayed for 5 1/2 weeks and had a grand time. We look forward to returning. Our host Tass was friendly, attentive and responsive.

Lovely flat, Perfect Location

We had a wonderful stay with our 10 year old at the flat in November. It had pretty much everything we needed to be comfortable and the location could not be more perfect. The beds were great and the flat was very cozy - I was worried about it being chilly in November but it was warm. It was super easy to get to the Tube and bus lines and was very close to shops and restaurants. Would recommend.

Honestly? I was first attracted to Notting Hill by the film. And I'm pleased to report that the area has hardly changed since then.
