We had a great stay here… a great property in a great location and Julie our host was very helpful and welcoming. The kitchen was well equipped, bed very comfy and the log burner kept us nice and warm. 10/10 recommend!

A delightful rural cottage with private parking, private garden but shared space for socialising with the other holiday cottage next door. Clear instructions for arrival and access plus a warm welcome from the owner who lives nearby. Clean and well appointed character furniture. Cosy bedrooms with some storage for clothing and luggage, good kitchen amenities and welcome tea, coffee, milk and eggs. BBQ available in summer and log stove for winter. Would definitely return or recommend.

Quiet, relaxing stay

We stayed during the Easter holidays with our two children. Thankfully we had gorgeous weather so went on plenty of walks and bbq’d most evenings. A gorgeous, clean, quiet cottage

Lovely place to stay in a beautiful area

We enjoyed a very relaxing break in a cottage that exceeded our expectations, complete with beautiful gardens. A great base to tour from, it is exceptionally clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and offered wonderful views of the area. Hosts were very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Garden Cottage. The owners were so helpful and kindly lent us some fantastic books about the area, along with great local advice. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. The garden is beautiful and the views are just stunning – such a peaceful and special place. We only wish we lived closer, as we’d love to stay often!
