Joy is a fantastic host, both welcoming and informative. Our stay was perfect, aided by Joy's tips on the local area... and having a beautiful pub/ restaurant within a 6 min walk.
The Potters Retreat exceeded our expectations. All our needs were met re bedroom dinning washing, shower bathroom areas. As said dog friendly and our dog safe in closed area.Clean everywhere and Joy g8 host.l

Thank you Scott and Marie for staying with us, we’re so pleased you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you again someday!
All the best, Brian & Joy
Joy was lovely and helpful. The cabin was nice and secluded, so you had your privacy and a closed off area for our dog. We didn’t need to bring food as there were 2 riverside pubs within walking distance and the closest one was open every day and also did breakfast. The weather was gorgeous and we enjoyed Gorleston beach and a day out in Norwich which is worth going to. There is a Portuguese patisserie nearby which does coffee and gorgeous cakes. We had a Portuguese breakfast which made a change from the usual fry. We had a fabulous 3 night stay.
Nice little spot. Secluded but not hard to find. Joy, the owner, was very helpful and communicative, before, during and after our stay. The cabin is very small but was fine for our two night stay. Everything you need is there.
We just got back from staying here for 6 nights. It's very pleasant, but a bit small for a couple. Would probably more suit a single person looking for a quiet retreat. The owners are lovely and can't do enough for you. Only gripe? No welcome pack on arrival and nearest supermarket is about 40 min drive. Other than that, 5 stars all round!

Thank you for the feedback which we value, having double checked the distance to the nearest large Tesco, it is in fact 15 minutes.
There is also a well stocked shop in the next village Rockland St Mary which is only 7 minutes by car. Also a farm shop in our village for the usual essentials.
We don’t offer a welcome pack as people often have different requirements such as dietary intolerances, but if guests message me prior to their arrival and would like me to get them some basics in then I’m more than happy to.
