A very peaceful, cosy & very well presented cottage which must have a thoughtful owner!

It is not really possible to fault this "Shippen". On arrival the food basket was a welcome sight and the flowers an added personal touch. Everything works and is easy to use. There are plenty of extras for the evening - log fire, reading lamp, DVDs & board games. The heating is easily controllable and the rooms as warm as you need them. The various windows allow plenty of light into the space and a very good architect (or attentive owner) has carried out a very satisfying conversion. The bedroom was very quiet & cosy and the double-bed very comfortable. Whilst the adjoining gardens are somewhat small (to the front and space to the side (access from the kitchen)) they are secluded and one is not overlooked. The owner should be proud of what has been achieved. Wadebridge is easily reachable by car, especially once one gets familiar with the narrow country lanes leading to the cottage.
