About this property

The Beeches Studio - Highlands of Scotland

A dog friendly (no fee) tranquil central Highland hideaway, located in the quiet outskirts of the secluded village of Newtonmore within the Cairngorm National Park. A stunning base for sightseeing, hiking, walking, wildlife, fishing, golf, outdoor activities (inc winter sports), touring (wildlife park, folk museum, distillery visits) and much much more.

The 2 double bedroom first floor studio is a self contained separate detached building to the owners home set in large mature wooded gardens (home to red squirrels).

The studio is licensed for 4 persons only (infants inder 2 yrs old exempt) and comprises open plan living room, kitchenette & dining area. Sofas, SkyQ, 4K smart tv (Netflix/YouTube), maps, books & games also available.

Each of the 2 bedrooms include bed (1x room: double sized/ 1x room: queen sized) drawers, side table and wardrobe hanging space.

Bathroom (sink, w/c, large power shower (no bath). Towels provided.

Kitchen area equipped with oak counter, butler sink, built in fridge/freezer, cooker and induction hob. Microwave, kettle & toaster also provided. All basic kitchen utensils provided for simple cooking requirements.

Wi-fi is available free of charge.

Studio washing, tumble drying and wet clothes/boot airing facilities are situated in the owners garage below the studio, guest are welcome to utilise these facilities as required. Garage space also available for storage of guests bikes, skiing, golf equipment etc.

Whilst dogs are welcome in the main accommodation there is also an outdoor combined kennel (with heater) and lockable caged run (9m x 5m) available for use.

Accommodation is situated on the first floor only (large triple empty garage below).

Guests have their own private access via an external flight of stairs into the studio. There is direct access to the large 0.5+ acre / fenced garden (shared with owner), equipped with numerous tables, chairs, benches, Summer house (The Snug) and morning covered seating area.

A bbq & fire pit is also available (usage by arrangement with owner only) wood & coals not included in price but can be supplied by the owner at cost if required.

Please note that the owners two dogs (Loki & Joshi) are free roaming throughout the garden during the day whilst the owner is resident. However can be housed / kennelled should private use of the garden be required.
