Maltings Lodge is tucked away in a tranquil village setting at the heart of the Suffolk wool towns and has far reaching views of the surrounding countryside. Sleeping up to five guests in three bedrooms this holiday retreat is ideal for friends and families alike.

Spread over two floors, the property has been tastefully furnished and decorated throughout. The property is accessed via the back door and leads directly into the light filled kitchen with large glass doors opening onto the patio. The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher and microwave, as well as a small dining area for enjoying a pot of tea in the morning sun which floods in through the doors from the south facing garden. There is a further formal dining room with seating for up to six guests making it an ideal space for a celebratory supper. On cooler evenings the sitting room with comfy reclining sofas and an open fire makes for a cosy night in. Downstairs there is a further front hallway and a wet room which is suitable for guests who are less mobile. On the first floor there are three well appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom has a 6' super king size bed, television and en-suite shower room. Bedroom two with 3' single bed has ample wardrobe space and shares the generous family bathroom with bedroom three which has a 6' super king size bed which can be configured as two 3' single beds on request.

Outside there is a large, south facing patio with outdoor furniture and a charcoal barbecue. Guests are permitted to access the garden shed for storing bicycles.

The property is merely a five minute's stroll from the local village pub and Chelsworth itself is less than 10 minute's drive from the historic village of Lavenham.
