Louis is a brilliant host, the walled garden is a lovely bungalow and well located for enjoying Long Melford, close the the amenities and historic houses.

Perfect getaway for Easter

Great bungalow with enclosed garden in a perfect location. Lots of places to eat in the village and lots of walks from your doorstep. Louie was a great host and very helpful.

There are many fine attributes to this property such as a top location in the centre of this delightful town yet set back in a very quiet lane backing on to a cricket field. The beds were fine and the inside of the house was as described. We had problems with no hot water, a back door not locking and the arcane heating system with no instructions when we arrived. These were promptly attended to by the owner’s representative who arrived quickly on site and rectified them. Later we had to clean the path to the front door of moss from the roof and the patio furniture and floor of bird droppings that had been there for some time - these should have been attended to before our visit, What is not disclosed in the listing is that the accommodation is one of three attached and the last of the three and the other two are under renovation which with building materials lying around - it makes for a disappointing entrance to the property, We were not disturbed by any noises from this renovation for the 5 days we were there.

Hi, I'm sorry some of the bungalow details were not to your liking. Most people appreciate the underfloor heating. It's a rural location and the garden has an emphasis on wildlife. You were there in bird nesting season and the birds are constantly gathering moss from the roof of which some ends up on the path. And yes we are in the process of renovating my house, but we always try to keep noise and disturbance to a minimum when we have guests

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Sehr ruhig, obwohl es im Zentrum von Long Melford liegt. Ideal für Menschen mit Hund. Toller Zugang zum Garten und von dort zum Cricketplatz und einer schönen Wanderroute.Gartenmöbel unglaublich bequem!Der Bungalow selbst ist einfach und schnörkellos eingerichtet. Absolut kein Schnickschnack! Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Tolle Gegend für Ausflüge!
