Comfortable house with fabulous views

Next to a pub with fine beer, views over the Dales to look out on and a fire to sit by so who cares about the weather. Very cosy and magnificently equipped house that all three generations enjoyed for a week.

Highly recommend this lovely home.

Very well-stocked kitchen. Good directions for all appliances, etc. Spectacular view. Comfortable rooms, great selection of books and DVDs. Worked perfectly for the 3 of us adults. We really liked the area, our favorite stay of the month we spent in the UK. The welcome items were very much appreciated, too!

Delightful location and well equipped house

Beautifully located in the Swaledale valley, gorgeous views from the terrace out along the valley in both directions. Very well equipped and furnished house and exceedingly comfortable. Good location for exploring the wilder areas of the Dales and the pretty moors and passes. Nothing to fault. Well equipped and thought out and easy to use. The welcome phone call before arrival was alos helpful to clear up any minor queries. My only issue would be the deluge of text messages from the finestretreats website itself.
