Welcome to our charming lake house in a private lake community, located just a short distance away from the beach, where you can enjoy swimming and fishing in crystal-clear waters. Our spacious 3 bedroom home has plenty of room for families or groups of friends to relax and unwind and can sleep up to 7. Our home also features a cozy porch that is perfect for those seeking a private room for catching up on your favorite TV show, reading a book, working from home, or simply unwinding and enjoying some alone time. The porch is also private enough to be used as an extra bedroom if needed.

Our community offers a variety of outdoor activities, including a playground, tennis court, bocce courts, basketball court and ballfield. For those who love the great outdoors, hiking trails and wineries are located just outside of the community. For golf enthusiasts, there are several nearby golf courses to choose from. In addition there are area marinas for boat rentals or charter fishing services.

If you're looking for a bit of adventure, take a short drive to Kent Falls State Park (20 miles) where you can hike, picnic and explore the breathtaking waterfalls. You can also enjoy the charming town of Kent for its quaint shops, antiquing, restaurants, galleries, and cultural attractions.

After a day of outdoor activities, come home to a fully equipped kitchen where you can whip up a delicious meal, or take advantage of the many wonderful restaurants and food shopping options that are conveniently located nearby.

Great home base for visiting family in the area.

Traveled in from Arizona with my adult kids to visit family in the area. The space was great and as soon as we unpacked, we felt at home. It was so nice to have our own space after visiting family each day with the option to make some meals rather than eat out. The house was the perfect size to give everyone their own space and also allow us to comfortably hang together in the living area. Minimal towels for an 8 night-stay and no laundry option was a challenge, but we made it work. Really wanted to kayak or canoe, but couldn't figure out how to do that. Played tennis and met some really nice neighbors in the community. Morning walks were beautiful and would definitely come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Terry’s charming cottage. It is a great spot. Quiet and peaceful

The cabin was very rustic and charming. It felt like we were away from it all but it is really very close to civilization if you want it. We lived in the area for many years so we felt quite at home. It would have been nice to have a washer and dryer but this really didn’t matter that much. We managed nicely. It helped to have friends not so very far away. Shouldn’t be a deterrent in any way. Candlewood knolls is a terrific spot for grown ups and kids alike. People were very friendly and helpful.

awesome little cottage

we stayed at terry’s place over memorial day weekend, and had a super comfortable chill time. the house was well appointed, has 4 bedrooms to choose from, and a nicely fitted kitchen to boot. we spent much of our time on the back deck and watching tv in the main room. the weather wasn’t great that weekend, so it was essential to have a solid place to hang out. we very much look forward to staying there again soon!!

Enjoyed our trip!

Home was as promised. We had 4 adults and 3 children and fit comfortably in home. The grill and outdoor deck were great additions. Lake was short walk down the hill. Owner Terry was great. She was responsive to emails and checked in to make sure we had everything needed. Great experience to spend time with my adult children and grandchildren.
