Beautiful - Art and Craft Lake House. Beautiful accommodations- our family enjoyed every minute- we cooked every night, enjoyed the lake and wonderful relaxing indoor and outdoor space.

We had a wonderful stay at Lesley and Kristen’s home on Candlewood Lake. Both Lesley and Kristen had great communication leading up to check-in and throughout our stay. The house is beautiful and warm. The spot on the lake is relaxing and lovely. The bedrooms and living areas are well appointed. The home had all of our needed necessities- such as laundry and a well stocked kitchen. It also comfortably fit our group of 10. We had a great stay and hope to stay again in the future! Thank you

Our family had a wonderful time at this charming lakefront house! There's plenty of space for families. Check in was easy and Lesley was very responsive throughout our stay. We enjoyed the early morning sunrise and the kids enjoyed fishing and playing off the deep water dock. The location provides privacy while also being close to stores and restaurants in New Fairfield, Danbury, etc.

Candlewood Lake House

We just spent a great week on Candlewood Lake. There are 6 people in my family so this house was perfect to invite a few friends to stay with us. The house was easy to get to, had beautiful views and was very clean. Lesley was amazing to work with.

Lake vacation

We had a lovely vacation at this spot, despite rain for many days. The house has a beautiful view and feels separate from other homes, though there are houses close by. The water was warm and we even swam in the rain. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking for a big group of people. The owner was very responsive/helpful to all questions and answered quickly.

Wonderful stay at Candlewood Lake

This secluded, charming house was perfect for our family reunion at Candlewood Lake. It was comfortable and well appointed and everything was in great condition. We rented a boat, so the dock was perfect for us. The owner/manager Leslie was a great communicator and was very helpful and responsive. She replaced the coffee pot before we arrived just in case it would be a problem for us. We really enjoyed the property and had a great experience staying here. I highly recommend this property and owner.

This house was perfect for my family. The bedrooms were all a nice size and everyone was very comfortable. The living room and dining room were great for our crew. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans for cooking. There are several sets of plates bowls cups and utensils. The location is very nice. We were on the water the whole week. Easy stair access into the water. The float is carpeted so great for young children. We had a wonderful time. The owner was easy to contact and responded to any questions immediately.

Glorious

We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect, exactly as described and can’t wait to go back! Several bedrooms to comfortably sleep two families. Set in a great private neighborhood, directly on the lake - we spent all day swimming, nights cooking and relaxing at the fire pit. The house sits across a private reserve and we felt like we were in a remote area. Lesley was wonderful, great at communicating, very clear instructions - very easy! Thank you!!

Great lake house!

Had a great time at this beautiful lake house in CT. There were 8 of us in our group and felt that we had plenty of space. Loved the dock by the lake- had so much fun fishing, swimming and just lounging around. We rented a few kayaks for a couple days which were delivered to the house. Lesley (owner) was so friendly and helpful every step of the way from check in to check out. There were helpful messages throughout the house that explained everything you needed to know…so organized! I will definitely plan a return trip.

Wonderful Stay on Candlewood Lake

It was my & my families first time at Candlewood Lake & it was one of the best vacations we’ve had!! The house on the lake was spotless, very welcoming & comfortable. It had everything we needed to make our vacation complete. We loved being outdoors in the yard & on the deck overlooking the water. My grandchildren loved being able to fish & swim whenever they wanted, and definitely making s’mores in the firepit! Lesley was always available if we had any questions & was a very gracious host! I’m so happy that she opens her home for others to share! Thankyou Lesley!

Beautiful Lake View Home

Our stay here during a heat wave was wonderful. It was cool by the lake and the water was crystal clear. Bring water shoes for walking down the steps. The kitchen was stocked with every tool you would ever need. There are many good restaurants in the area if you don't want to cook and lots of things to do in the area. There is a beach down the road if you have small children. Most houses on the lake do not have gradual access to the water. All in all, it was a very enjoyable week even during a rain storm which we watched from the safety of the house!

Family Reunion

What a wonderful week at the lake! The house is everything you would expect from a ‘real’ lake house perched on a hill with a perfect vista. House was clean, everything you need is there - after talking to the hosts to give them feedback - I struggled to think of anything. We dropped the boat in and moored at the dock where we spent most of our time. The area of the lake the house backs onto is quiet and perfect for water sports. We all got up on the wakeboards and the little ones had a blast on the tube. The hosts Lesley and Kris were first class - keeping in contact and pointing us in the right direction or leaving us be to enjoy our time. Would love to make this our regular lake holiday home.

Perfect Location

My family and I had a wonderful time during our weeks stay. The house was immaculate and well stocked. The location is also perfect with a lovely dock for fishing, sunbathing and swimming!! Leslie and Kristen are perfect hosts who communicate proactively and provide prompt responses to all inquiries. Just a couple of items to note so you’re prepared. There is a long stairway to get from the house to the dock. While not steep, it may pose a challenge for elderly individuals. My Dad, who is 87, was able to go up and down them, however, he was nervous about falling while going down and had to rest a few times while going up. Also be aware that the tvs are streaming only. No cable.

Great vacation home

We had a great vacation. The house was comfortable and inviting. The location is fabulous , right on the water. We had a great time swimming, kayaking, fishing and just hanging out on the dock. Lesley is a gracious host and we communicated with her with ease. The entire experience was phenomenal.

Perfect Vacation Home

We had a wonderful week! This house is amazing. Everything is so well appointed and functional. The house and everything in it is in great condition. It was truly a joy to stay here. Not to mention the beauty of the lake. The property is gorgeous as is the view from the house. The dock is perfect for a boat and for jumping off for a swim. My family of five loved it. It is a gem!
