The Cottage is a quirky 200 year old listed building, with a burn running alongside the garden, originally the storage building for the old Mill back in the day, before it was converted into a dwelling, the space is on ground floor level, there is private parking for one vehicle.
Lots of interesting historic places to visit around the Dumfries & Galloway area; beaches, stone circles, hiking trails, nature and wildlife, forests, architecture to name a few.

The main / master double bedroom has a TV, Netflix, books, fridge, microwave, mobile phone charging deck, kettle, toaster, kitchen accessories, small air fryer, access to broadband and a dining area.
The second double bedroom has a TV, Netflix, books, kettle, kitchen accessories, access to broadband.
There is a sitting area out on the decking directly outside the rooms. Secure parking area for one vehicle at the side of the cottage with 24hr CCTV, a walk down the garden gives you access to the guest room's, and the decking area is solely your use during your stay.
Full CCTV around the outside of the cottage at all times for your security. There is a key-safe if you prefer, I am happy to greet you in person, this is fine too. You can message, or call me at any point during your stay
You will hear birds, water from the burn, some other noise. There are working farms nearby too.
The garden has steps up to the decking area. Areas of the cottage has lower ceilings. There is a steep path giving access to the garden.
Bedding and towels are supplied, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap is provided. Samples of coffee and tea are also supplied.
