Excellent location

The cottage is located in a very convenient spot, just the right distance from all the action but far enough away to enjoy the quiet location. The views from the bedrooms are nice. Kitchen, baths are fine, especially for an old cottage. We’ll stay there again.

The Secret Cottage is in a fabulous position, with fabulous sea views from both the bedrooms. The Cottage itself was clean, as was the bedding and towels. although the cooker hob and surround were filthy. Luckily we did not need to use this, so it didn't impact us too much.We had a few maintenance issues and Cornish escapes attended to these quickly and efficiently. However, it wasn't quite the luxury we paid for, as it is a top price rental. The curtain in the first floor bathroom was dirty and bedraggled, there was a nail sticking out of the floor in the top floor bathroom and although both double beds are on the description as extra large or king size, they are both standard doubles. The kitchen has masses of cookware, most of which you don't need on holiday, but it was hard to find enough matching plates, cutlery and glasses for the 4 of us, when surely there should be a minium 6 !Also the house smells and feels a bit damp in parts, which so soon after such a hot summer is worrying.

Absolutely gorgeous property!

This may be the most beautiful cottage we’ve ever rented. The views are extraordinary. The photos really don’t do them justice. You are right in the middle of all the fun of Saint Ives, but elevated away from the congestion of the main commercial district. You do need to be willing to climb some stairs with your luggage, but it is well worth it. The home is wonderfully maintained in the decor is gorgeous. Highly recommend!

New Year get away

Great location if a little difficult to find in the dark, which as 5.00pm is check in time it’s certainly very dark in this location after 4.00pm in December! However once found and we worked our way through various appliances etc. we enjoyed a lovely 6 nights in the property. Couple of small issues, should you want TV during your stay learn how to use ROKU before you get there otherwise you’ll get quite frustrated, also the gas log effect fire, preserve if you don’t at first get it to work. Otherwise enjoy a great stay and build up those leg muscles up and down the steps!

10Tage St.Ives

Das Hause hat eine positive Ausstrahlung und sehr wohnliche Atmosphäre. Einzig die dünnen Holzdecken sind etwas hellhörig.
