Thank you Laura for looking after us whilst at owls roost, we’ve had the best time. Our family of seven had plenty of space in this open plan barn conversion. It was clean, tidy with lovely touches of scones and milk on arrival and beds and bowls for our little dog. The kitchen is very well equipped which enabled us to cook every night. The scenery is stunning, with horses, cows and the luxury of seeing many red kites. With many public pathway walks. A visit to Bourton, stow and Cheltenham are lovely days out.A brilliant place for rest and relaxation, very peaceful. Thank you.

Owl's Roost Almost perfect

Every thing about Owl's Roost is excellent with the possible exception, for some people, of the "adventurous cross country (track through fields)" last leg of around half a mile. But, of course, once conquered straightforward from then on.

Lovely weekend friends reunion

Lovely quiet rural location, with amazing views. Large property that had plenty of space to relax and catch up with friends. Would be ideal for families or groups of friends Loved meeting the managers of the property who live next door with their children Laura was very helpful and lovely when we had a problem with the heating. The property is about a mile outside of the village so a car is recommended. Easy drive into some of the other beautiful Cotswold villages. Well equipped accommodation.

Stunning House with Quirks

Overall we really loved the house. The open plan living areas were great and the setting is beautiful. Communication and and attentiveness of the owner/manager was great. Only downside was the lack of doors on the bedrooms and curtains on the windows which meant that sleep wasn’t great. This should be more obvious when booking, I realise there is a virtual layout but I would think that curtains and doors are to be expected of a property rather than checked for. I would recommend to others but would be very clear about this issue.

Relaxing stay

We had a lovely stay at Owls Roost. The home is beautiful it was cozy and warm when we arrived with a lovely welcome surprise in the fridge for us which we all really enjoyed! The place was spotlessly clean and the we enjoyed our visit from their dog who made himself quiet at home in the house with us. Really helpful when we called them to ask for directions. Stunning views to wake up to in the morning. We will definitely be back.

“Highly Recommended Stay in a Stunning Location

We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this cottage. The host was incredibly welcoming, and the place was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. The cottage itself is very comfortable, and the amazing views made our stay even more special. The thoughtful touches like fresh scones, cream, and milk were greatly appreciated. A fantastic place for families, and we will definitely be returning!

Amazing Getaway

A lovely stay tucked away in the cotswolds.

Beautiful and relaxing

We had the most wonderful stay, we were there with family and were made to feel very welcomed. The views over the farm are stunning, the house was lovely and clean and had so much space. Our son fell in love with the house and seeing the horses. Laura could not have been more helpful, we cannot wait to come and stay again.

We had a great time in Owls Roost!

We loved the spaciousness, the beautiful and peaceful landscape with horses and cows, and the hot tub — a big hit for the whole family! The location was also great, with only a short drive to many attractions in the Cotswolds. The only downside was cleanliness — the carpets could have been cleaner, and a quick run with a vacuum would have made a big difference.

Amazing vacation!

We had a fabulous time at Owls Roost. The cottage was very spacious, clean and well equiped. We also got to enjoy the hot tub. Laura was simply a wonderful host! She even let us meet the horses and dogs. We would love to come back again just to see that amazing view of the hills with the cows and horses roaming about.

Beautiful views

We were staying here for a family wedding. There was an issue with the heating when we arrived but this was fixed after a couple of days. I did feel that some of the kitchen utensils and equipment need to be replaced but otherwise had an enjoyable stay.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely , restful stay at owl’s roost . The owners are friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome . My son especially loved meeting the horses and dogs . The house is spacious , well equipped with a hot tub and beautiful views. It is also in a perfect location to visit Burton on Water , the Cotswolds wild life park and other national trust sites . We had a really comfortable stay and I would return !

Amazing property situated in wonderful location

A great stay in the Cotswolds

A spacious cottage in a lovely setting. Nick and Laura were excellent in making sure that our stay went well. A short mile walk to the local pub. We definitely plan to return as we had a great stay and would recommend this lovely cottage to others.

A little piece of heaven in the Cotswolds

We had a great time at Owls roost. The views from the property are spectacular. The local pub is just a mile away. We were able to explore many parts of the Cotswolds from this location. We had a great time with family.

A wonderful birthday weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend at Owl's Roost. Laura and Nick were perfect hosts and the barn is fabulous and set up very well for group/family stays. The location was perfect for a country getaway - no noise except for animals and ourselves. Easy distance to some of the prettiest villages I'm the Cotswolds and the Cotswold Distillery!
