This place had an amazing view and was a short uphill (stairs) walk to downtown Wengen. The chalet was very comfortable and roomy. The washer and dryer were a plus. The town of Wengen had everything we needed and getting to other parts of the area by train, gondola or hiking was easy although you will get a workout.

Having to return the key upon departure is a bit inconvenient. Most vacation homes today have electronic access to the property. Not only is this more convenient for guests, it eliminates the physical key which can be lost and need to be replaced. Other than that it was a fantastic vacation property with views that are hard to communicate to folks who were not here. The apartment was well stocked with everything we needed and more.

Wonderful Wengen

Stay was amazing! Visited for 5 days with our children who were 18 years old. The property is immaculate and having the extra bedroom and bathroom was invaluable. There is no air conditioning and the nights were very warm so a fan in each bedroom would have been more comfortable and a sheet or two. This would be my only suggestion. The building is downhill but not a terrible walk for those who are fairly fit, as you need to return uphill every day to town. We didn’t use any luggage service since we travel light but this is a good option that we saw people using who had larger luggage items. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Wengen!

Wonderful place to stey

The apartment was clean, spacious and nicely equipped. It is in a quiet location with a nice view of the valley. This was my second stay at a Wengen Apartments managed apartment and their service and helpfulness is excellent! The information package the send you prior to your visit is just great and a model for what every renting agency should provide. Everything is organized so well - it make the entire stay better. I know this is probably an apartment-specific request, but I wish all apartments provided a lightweight shopping cart. Bring a bunch of groceries down from the Coop is Wengen can be challenging. Our first rental had a small cart for groceries and it was a godsend.
