Located on South Point you can golf, fish, kayak, canoe, and crab -- 1/4 mile from public boat launch and four of the best OC golf courses: Rum Pointe and Ocean City Golf Club are only 5 minutes away; Eagle's Landing about 10minutes and Glen Riddle about 20 minutes.. Bring your boat or clubs and enjoy this nature lover's vacation.

As always, this is our favorite place to stay on vacation. My husband and young children love this home so much and we really never have anything to worry about when we are there. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful view

Our small family had a nice vacation here. The cottage is a short drive from Assateague, Ocean City, Berlin and Frontier Town. We enjoyed early morning walks through the surrounding neighborhood.

Perfect location

This property was the perfect getaway. Right on the water in a quiet neighborhood but still close enough to all the activities of OC. We brought kayaks and the boat launch is literally 2 minutes away. I loved that 1 day we could have the hustle of the boardwalk and the next day have the serenity of a quiet waterfront retreat

The Perfect Place

This trip was my first in that location and it was the best. It's perfect because you are just far enough from the craziness of Ocean City, with it still being only a 30 minute drive. Plus you get the beaches on the Island. The property was beautiful and tucked away nicely as well. Hats off to the owner for letting my family stay at their beautiful home.

Wonderful Stay

Checkin was very easy and the house simple to find. Beautiful views of the bay. Only 3 minutes to the public boat dock to launch our kayaks. And only 10 minutes from the beach. Home was clean and well provisioned. Compared to the 1 bedroom condo we normally rented it felt enormous. Lovely place to stay - we hope to stay again.

Quaint and quiet

Booked primarily to Kayak in the area, the location was great. The close proximity to assateague made trips to kayak enjoyable and fast, and although kayaking is possible from the property I would suggest bringing muck boots. Property was a quiet retreat from the hustle of Ocean city, but only a short drive to restaurants and attractions. Hostess was responsive and helpful when it came to the property and the area, would definitely stay again.

Hide away visit

What a great location! Peaceful street with amazing views in the back. So close to the beaches in Assetegue. The house met our family's needs for a home base. Kitchen had all we needed for a few family dinners, would suggest bringing water to drink and ice. Host was very responsive and helpful!

Assateague Island Getaway

Great getaway near Assateague Island. Quaint place with a great view to start and end your day with. Adequately stocked kitchen. Brand new gas grill. Wifi is available at the house. Would recommend this place to others looking to avoid crowds. Word of caution: Be wary when doing whites in the laundry as some may turn orange due to well water.

Great Getaway

We have previously stayed on the OC boardwalk, north of the boardwalk and on Assateague Island, but this was by far the best location for us so far. The well kept house offers privacy with wonderful views of the bay and Assateague Island. We spent days at the National Park, board walk and exploring the rest of the area without the crowds, traffic and commotion that accompanies a resort area. We were able to go crabbing and clamming in the neighborhood, had great restaurants very close by and could steam our own crabs on the back deck. Bird watchers will love the variety of birds in the marsh and on the bay. It's a treasure and we'll definitely be back. Thanks for having us!

Hyde out

Great place for kids. Location and view can’t be beat. Excellent communication with manager. Only downside is very hard water, heavy with iron and minerals. Stained bathroom fixtures and shower curtain. White clothes come out of the washer mildly stained. Otherwise very comfortable and well set up.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay in the area, getting to visit the beach across the bay and see wild horses in the national park, and the nearby downtown of Berlin is lovely. The house itself is quirky: it's clearly built to withstand high winds and flooding, and you can feel it shaking a bit now and then. Between our two families, our four kids all happily piled into the bunk bed room and slept well, and the living room/kitchen was a nice space for play and meals. The owners know about a couple of general maintenance issues that they are going to address, but as a whole, we felt good in the house, and we really loved being able to stargaze at night and take in the view of the bay during the day. Beatitude sunrises too.

Amazing

This was the most perfect house. The view from the brand new deck was AMAZING. We loved having morning coffee and at night star gazed. The kitchen is huge and fully stocked. The appliances are all new and very modern. Finally had a table that fit everyone. Kids enjoyed the smart tv on the rainy days. Mattresses We’re so comfortable we slept like a log. Lots of fun games were there. I am a professional cleaner by trade and I’ll tell you this place was clean. Thankful for the hot water in the outdoor shower. The quietest neighborhood ever. Never saw or heard a neighbor. Felt very safe. Tons of off street parking. We had one of the most memorable family vacations this year.

Great Location!

My fiancé and I loved this house. It’s so close to assateague and the view is unbeatable- the sky is so clear and stunning at night. Margo made everything very easy from start to finish. We would for sure stay again!

Perfect Spot

Property was in a beautiful peaceful location. The views were gorgeous, especially sunrise! As an avid Birder, this spot was amazing! The kitchen had all the essentials to enjoy some meals in. Location is ideal as it's close to Assateagua Island and The Boardwalk.

Great place, great location

If you want to beach at Assateague, this is your home base to do it from! It's about 5-6 miles away and its close enough to Berlin or Ocean City. The neighborhood is very quiet. Best of all are the views of the bay from the deck! The house is well equipped for cooking & dining and the bedroom beds are comfortable. We would definitely stay here again! And the property owner is quite responsive to emails & texts. The only minor detractor of this place is that the cell reception is VERY slow to almost none existent (Verizon phones) and the house wifi router doesn't provide much better internet speeds. Thanks Margo!

You can't beat the location. We could see the horses on the island using our spotting scope. It was quiet and peaceful.
