About this property

Heron Hut - 2 bdrm, 1 bath home on quite pond with private WIFI

A relaxing beach retreat with a peaceful view of the pond. Enjoy bird watching and fishing and right outside your back door. There are two bedrooms; master with a queen bed and a guest bedroom with two single beds. The couch is a new sleeper queen sofa. The living area is bright and beachy with a full-sized kitchen. Home amenities include; a refrigerator , range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, small washer/dryer, two flat screen TVs (with internet), central air and off-street parking for two vehicles.

The courtyard is fenced in with patio furniture consisting of six chairs, table and umbrella. A gas grill is also provided for renter’s convenience.

Assateague Pointe is a gated community with 24-hr security. It offers use of two large pools, 1500-foot fishing and crabbing pier, volley ball, basketball, game room, Wi-Fi, etc. The community is centrally located only 10 minutes from Assateague beach, Ocean City beach, board walk, go-carts, restaurants, and shopping outlets. The community is also located next to the newly renovated Frontier Town water park and theme park. Come and take our beach retreat for a test run … you will enjoy every minute.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Please empty the dishwasher and remove all trash and bring it to the dumpster in the storage yard at the end of your stay.

Any sheets or towels that were used need to be washed, dried and returned to the closet for the next guest.

Return all keys and passes to lock box and container by front door when you leave the unit. Thank you!

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Any used linen MUST be washed and returned to cabinet or a $25 fee will be charged.

All dishes MUST be washed prior to leaving and returned to cabinet.

Cleaning service does not do dishes or laundry. Please do not leave them for the next guest.

This place was very nice. It was very,very clean. They had everything you need. The community was nice. The pool and fishing/ crabbing pier was added bonus. Game room was great. All in all it was wonderful. We will be back!

Perfect spot to stay near Assateague

This was the perfect spot for myself and husband and 5yo daughter to stay. The community had a nice big pool, a pier to walk out on, a playground, and it was super close to Assateague island.

Great place to stay!

The property is cozy and very comfortable. This is our second stay at Heron Hut and both have been great. The layout works really well, the kitchen is well equipped and everything is very clean. The owners respond to questions quickly and are very easy to work with

Nice place to stay

Staying is really great at this place. It is clean and comfortable and has everything you need. The owners are easy to deal with. I have stayed more than once and will do so again. I even recommended it to friends who wish to stay in Berlin.

Perfect!

We have stayed in the Assateague Pointe community many times but this was our first visit to Heron Hut. We absolutely loved it! It was our best beach cottage yet. Very clean, well kept and had everything we needed for a great family getaway. The views were gorgeous. We loved watching the Blue Herons from our back porch.
