About this property

Casa nel Paradiso, apartment with balcony-historic center/Pratello

The apartment is located on the 3rd floor with lift in a building in a quiet private garden, from the balcony you can enjoy a suggestive view of the red roofs of Bologna. The apartment (55 m2) consists of an entrance hall, fully equipped kitchen, brand new bathroom with large shower and washing machine, 2 bedrooms (one double and one with two armchairs/beds that can be transformed into single beds as shown in the photo).

You are in the heart of "Pratello", one of the liveliest neighborhoods in the historic centre, full of clubs and activities, in the evening it is a meeting place and it is very pleasant to stop for an aperitif or even to taste the gastronomic specialities.
Piazza Maggiore, San Petronio, San Pietro, Nettuno can be reached on foot by walking under the characteristic porticoes (Unesco heritage).
In the surrounding area you will find a supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, practically everything that makes your stay pleasant.

We are also a strategic point to reach some important cities of art, in about h. 1-1.30 by train you can visit Venice, Florence, Ravenna and Parma and Ferrara, you can organize visits to these cities without changing location and to make your stay as comfortable as possible you also have a washing machine at your complete disposal.

We live in the adjacent apartment and with my husband we personally welcome guests, providing all the tourist and gastronomic information, curiosities or anything else that may be necessary.
Cleaning and sanitization is personally handled.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We had a wonderful stay in Bologna. The location was perfect - right off a busy, vibrant area but tucked away in a courtyard that felt private and safe. We spent every morning watching the sunrise from the small balcony facing east. The balcony was definitely a highlight of the property and a must for enjoying the ambience of the city. The building felt like a classical Bologna property, but the finishes were modern and very clean. Elena and Stefano were wonderful hosts and we highly recommend this property!

What a great property in a perfect spot in Bologna. The hosts were amazing. They greeted us upon arrival, helped with our bags, gave us lots of sight seeing tips and even made dinner reservations for us! The apartment was perfect in every way. The beds were comfy, the kitchen well supplied, and the balcony was the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day or at the start of a fun night out.

This was the best stay we have ever had. The hosts were delightful and made sure we had everything we needed including restaurant recommendations and places to be sure to visit. It was a true comfort to know we had new friends to help us if we needed it! They even arranged for the cab to take us back to the train station. We can’t recommend this stay as anything less than perfect!

Beautiful Bologna! This apartment was perfect for our family of 4 with its cozy beds that had immaculate linens, AC, washer, full kitchen and a balcony that offered a window to the historical center. Our hosts were gracious and offered clear guides, amazing restaurant recommendations and offered to help if necessary with any of our questions. Wish we could of stayed longer-it was paradise!

Thank you for your visit, we are sorry to read this, it is the first time we have received this report. so we take this opportunity to better describe the area for future guests. We are located in the historic center "Al Pratello" (the origins of the discrict date back tu at least the year 1184) one of the oldest and liveliest neighborhoods in Bologna, full of bars, restaurants and trattorias. Despite this, the apartment inside a private courtyard is extremely sheltered from street noise, offering tranquility and at the same time experiencing the atmosphere of Bologna by moving just a few meters. We hope that Bologna has remained in your hearts!!!

Perfect Location and Delightful Hosts

If you want a quiet place in the historic center of Bologna you can’t do better. Stefano and Elena are always ready to help you, and the apartment is nicely updated. We spent many a morning out on the balcony which overlooks a quiet courtyard. You are minutes from Bologna’s central market and piazza, and many cafes and restaurants are even closer.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and the owners were very friendly and helpful. They gave us lots of advice and suggestions, which we used and enjoyed. Stefano and Elena went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable, but they were never intrusive. We loved being in a authentic part of Bologna and felt like locals. We stayed for 13 nights and used Bologna as a base to visit Venice, Modena, Parma and Ravenna. The balcony was a lovely extra and we often had a coffee or a wine while looking at the roof tops.

Bologna Hospitality at its Best!

We had an incredible time in Bologna. Stefano and Elena were the best hosts imaginable. They offered us restaurant suggestions, helped book reservations, got us a parking spot, and so many other things. They truly made the stay special. The apartment itself is in a great location, with tons of shops and restaurants right nearby. Both the train station and the main piazza are about a 15 minute walk, making it a great place to call home base. We loved our stay, and are glad we got to experience Bologna hospitality!
