When it comes to location, it doesn't get much better than this. Ideally situated at West Shore, a beautiful sandy beach, providing a fantastic alternative to the pebble beach over on the north side of Llandudno. This calm, peaceful side of Llandudno truly offers the best of both worlds, boasting tranquillity along with the hustle and bustle of the town centre being only a short stroll away.
The sheer beauty and laid back atmosphere of this side of Llandudno, offers the perfect setting for anyone looking to unwind. The stunning sea-front views from the lounge's bay windows really are spectacular and the frequent sunsets, just as beautiful. The huge selection of restaurants/bars/cafe's in Llandudno town centre are just a 10 minute walk from the apartment so you really are spoilt for choice! Prefer a cosy night in? Why not make use of the great selection of books, games & dvd's provided and the fully equipped kitchen for a slap-up, home cooked meal!
There are some truly picturesque walks to take advantage of right from the doorstep. A beautiful 4 mile coastal walk will take you along the sea front, through Deganwy and on to Conwy which is home to the impressive Conwy Castle. Well worth a visit, even if you prefer to drive there! Another great option would be walking in the opposite direction, with The Great Orme being directly behind us. You can treat yourself to another stunning coastal walk around this historic, natural splendour or a walk up The Orme itself (where you are treated to fantastic views and activities at the top). Alternatively if you prefer, be transported in style on the Great Orme Tramway or cable car. What a fabulous hidden gem. We’ve been coming to Llandudno for many years as day trippers whilst staying elsewhere and didn’t even know of the West Shore. The accommodation was amazing with everything you could ever need - even a sewing kit and a pair of ready readers! The milk and chocolates were a lovely surprise and the accommodation was beautifully clean and tidy. We walked, had a bus ride to Conwy and ate lots of Welsh ice cream but also took time to enjoy the views of the sea front, boating pool and mountains whilst relaxing right out of the big front windows. The hosts were friendly and excellent communicators, the pub across the road was very welcoming and did nice food and drinks. The cafe at the end was a great place to have a cuppa and cake and the coffee van at the weekend near the boating pool.We had miniature train rides beyond the cafe on a Saturday and spent hours watching the model yacht races on Sunday. We walked and walked and the town centre and pier is easily reached with a flat 10-15 minute walk. The buses are very regular just across from the accommodation and there is also a road train and sightseeing bus that passes through. You can definitely spend time either just chilling and watching the world go by or play on the beach which has sand, shells and pebbles. Lllandudno itself is an amazing town with lots of history, the Great Orme and tramway, the pier and so many shops and restaurants. I would not hesitate to recommend as a great place to stay.
Very clean, well equipped first floor flat overlooking the beach.
Fabulous view from big, bright lounge with two comfy sofas. Beds also very comfortable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Llandudno seemed a lovely town and plenty to see and do within an hour or so drive.
Also benches and beach to sit and relax on the doorstep. Owners communication was excellent and would highly recommend
The apartment was very pleasant. There was an exceptional view from the front window. We have never had a better equipped property. The area is very quiet but just a short walk to the town centre . It is right by the beach. It has a lovely seafront for walking. Right outside the apartment there is the bus turnaround point that gives easy access to all the areas via the many regular buses. This does not make the area busy. We would recommend this place to anyone.
