Perfect location, minutes walk from the Vatican and a ton of great food, coffee and gelato! Rooms were modern, clean and the AC was super refreshing after a few hours in the sun and crowds.

Was apprehensive to begin with as VRBO did not take the payment, they requested payment through another secure system. I thought it was a scam and called VRBO who confirmed everything was ok. The property was just as in the pictures. Communication was great. Only small thing was you give them a time when you believe you shall arrive so they can meet you at the property. This itself is a challenge as you never know with traffic exact time. We ended up being 15 minutes late. Nobody was there to meet us and they did not answer the phone. They called back 5 minutes later and were in the area and arrived in another 5 minutes so no big deal. The local pizza restaurant just up the road just a minute away was excellent and would highly recommend it. It's a locals place and with prices everyone will like. Bus stop right outside the door that takes you to the main train/bus terminal and stops at the main sights on its way.Overall I would definitely recommend this property.

Dear Michelle, thank you for your time in reviewing our property! We would like to highlight that no extra charge has been required upon check in; the amount of € 140.00, you paid upon check in, refers to the cleaning fee that is clearly highlighted both on VRBO adv and in the welcome email we sent you upon reservation. We always highly recommend to our guests to read carefully all the info before and after the reservation.

Beautiful apartment near Vatican City

We loved this apartment! Everything was modern and clean inside the apartment. Although the building is older - and the elevator is...small :), the neighborhood is lovely. There are restaurants just down the street. Up the street is a very nice grocery store. There are also small markets close by. It is a short walk to Vatican City, but far enough away from the crowds. The person who met us to check in was very pleasant and well-informed. We would definitely stay here again!

Rome Apartment

Very much enjoy this apartment. Newly renovated and clean. Beds were comfortable. Easy check-in process. Only disadvantage is location. While it’s close to the Vatican, it’s not centrally located. There is a bus stop out front, but the busses were unreliable. About 20-30 min walk to metro. The train station was super close though and we did use that!

Dear Stefanie Thank you for your time in reviewing. Saying Via delle Fornaci is not central is not really correct. You are right in front of the Vatican and it is centre of Rome. We totally disagree with you. The underground is not near but everything can be reached by walking distance. Nevertheless we respect your perception of the city. Booking Team

Great location near the Vatican

This was a great location a short walk to the Vatican, many restaurants, shops, cafes, gelaterias, and more. The unit was comfortable and had all that we needed during our stay. The check in process was excellent and communication was quick and effective with the property management. The property is on the 6th floor, with many stairs and only a small (sketchy) elevator. So be aware. The unit has a tiny, European style washer and only drying rack. So plan accordingly. We had expected to have things like soap, paper towel / dish towels, basic kitchen and other bathroom amenities present when we arrived. What we found wasn't much. Not a big thing, but would have been a nice touch and is something we’d seen most other places we’ve stayed. When we checked in, we were told about quiet hours in the building and the sensitivity to this as it related to VRBO / B&B guests like us. We planned much of our day, including rest time and sleep to correspond and respect the rules. What we discovered is the full time residents didn’t similarly respect these rules. We notified the property manager about concerns we had with loud construction going on across the hall during quiet hours. This was acknowledged, but not much else was done. This left us disappointed. Overall, the place was good and our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Sehr zentral

Die Wohnung liegt unweit des Petersdoms. Bushaltestellen sind auch in der Nähe. Zur Innenstadt kann man auch laufen. Schräg gegenüber ist ein Supermarkt. Die Wohnung ist modern und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Wir fanden sie gut.
