Lovely property very spacious and had everything you needed we were a group of 11 ladies parking was great we had a visit from a friendly neighbours dog she was called Yoko The cottage is very central to alot of amenities and attractions and the price was very good if you want to use the pool table there is a charge of 20p per game which was mentioned in the book on arrival with other information but I think it should have been mentioned on the cottage advertisment so you can make sure you have 20p on you
Great stay at Swallow Cottage - very clean and tidy and had absolutely everythinfg you could need, right down to dishwasher tablets! Isaac was really helpful, couldn't ask for more.
It was very spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen and adequate heating—ideal for a group stay. The only downside was that the bedding could have been cleaner and in better condition.Other than that it’s highly recommended.
Good clean facilities, basic but that was good in that no-one felt stressed about the children running in with muddy shoes. Plenty of room for them to run around. Plenty of seating for everyone, The house was lovely and warm all the time. Lovely setting despite the weather. Good communication from the host.
Great property for a large family getway. Down to earth property with comfy beds and a lot of bathrooms. Isaac was super helpful and kind. Lovely area to explore.
A nice stay in pleasant cottage, surrounded by countryside and with relatively easy access to nearby beaches etc. Plenty of space, indoor and out. A few quirks and could do with a bit more of a clean, but overall it worked well for our multi generational family holiday.
6 adults and 4 children for a surprise 50th family weekend. Beautiful surroundings. Easy to reach destinations. Perfect size for all of us and layout, however could do with a little TLC, cleanliness was not great. Did not let it ruin our stay as it was perfect otherwise.
Deceptive at first glance but, did not disappoint. Suited our three families of 6 adults and four children (8-16). Plenty of space both inside and outside, bedrooms and bathrooms were as described and perfectly adequate for our short stay. Only wished we could have stayed longer. Maybe next time.
We only saw him when we had a problem with the tv.the cottage although roomy was very dated and in need of a complete refurbishment the fifth bedroom could not be accessed by the main accommodation which was not shown in the details. The towels provided were like drying with sandpaper.
We stayed at Swallow Cottage in June 2026. The price was good compared to other things in the area so we were prepared for it to be a bit dated and tired. This didn’t bother our party of four adults and four children. We felt able to relax and not worry too much about the children. It felt very safe and they absolutely loved the garden and the play park. They were able to wander back and forth by themselves, even the three year old twins. The main room was big with lots of space to spread out and there’s a lovely big table for meals together. As grandparents we put ourselves in the annex which was very peaceful though the plumbing was a little suspect, with the plug blowing out of the shower when we flushed the toilet! The children are already asking to go back…….maybe next year we will!
