Escape to downtown Boulder and enjoy our comfortable modern home in the heart of everything that is special in Boulder. We are walking distance to Pearl Street, Chautauqua Park, the University of Colorado campus and football stadium. Restaurants, bars, microbreweries, shopping, and all the recreational activities that Boulder has to offer is all very close. Our remodeled home is 4 blocks to the Boulder Creek Path where you can enjoy biking or walking along the creek and close to the amazing Chautauqua Park with the iconic Flatirons with access to hundreds of miles of hiking trails. The Farmer's Market in the summer is a nice walk on the Boulder Creek Path where you can enjoy a bite to eat and take home some fresh veggies for a dinner at the house. Preparing meals is a joy in the open kitchen with high end appliances. It is stocked with everything you would need to have a home cooked meal including pantry items and plenty of pans, cooking utensils, and serving bowls. The dining table seats 8 people.
The property is set back from the street and has many huge eighty year old pine trees which adds to the privacy and feeling away from everything but right in the center of the city. There are very "peek-a-boo" views of the Flatirons and Settler's Park Red Rocks (West Pearl) that is especially spectacular at sunset. "The Hill" with restaurants and coffee shops is a 15 minute easy walk and a fun modern coffee shop is about a 5 minute walk. Mackey Auditorium on the Colorado University campus is about a 20 minute walk with a path going under the busy Broadway Avenue. The football stadium is about a 30 minute walk.
Our property is extremely family friendly. There is plenty of parking in the driveway including a circle drive that accommodates two to three cars. Our property is stocked with games for all ages. Upon request, there is a portable-crib and high chair, booster seat, plastic kitchenware, etc.
Outside, there are three areas to sit and enjoy the hummingbirds and peacefulness. Inside, there are separate comfortable seating areas great to visit or read a book. The upper level has a king size bed in the Master Bedroom and an en suite and there is second bedroom with a queen bed and an adjacent full bathroom. The downstairs has a third bedroom with a queen size bed and adjacent bathroom. There is a fourth sleeping area with a very comfortable queen memory foam sleeper sofa in the lower level. The home can sleep eight people. There is a full size washer and dryer for your use. A whole house fan cools off the house at night almost instantly. There is also central air conditioning if needed.
We have a full size washer/dryer, central heat and AC, high speed internet, 3 flat screen TV’s, ceiling fans in two of the bedrooms, grill, two full size patio sets on the lower deck and in front. A seating area with a fire pit on the upper deck.

Thank you Elizabeth for your review! It was a pleasure having you and your family stay at our home for your son's graduation. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay. The home is tucked away a bit but fun to walk to many restaurants, coffee shops, CU, and Pearl Street. It seems like yesterday that we were walking to our son's graduation from CU. :-)
Thanks Julie for the short but lovely review! And thanks for the handwritten note about how you and your family enjoyed your stay here. It was a pleasure hosting you.

That is so frustrating!! I'm sorry that happened. When we talked the last time, you seemed confident that you'd be able to get it to work but evidently that did not happen. Especially frustrating since it was working for you the night before. It turned out someone accidentally pressed the "source" button on the sound bar remote so it would have been an easy "press the button again" solution. Bummer!! And, of course, the 42 inch TV was an option but I get that it's more fun to watch on the 60 inch. I am glad that you still enjoyed the home and the location!!
An absolutely perfect home for a visit to Boulder. The location can't be beat--nestled up against the foothills and yet just a 10 minute walk to The Hill and 20 minutes to campus. The setting is peaceful and there are several different outdoor seating areas to take advantage of the location. The kitchen is very well-stocked and equipped and everything perfectly organized. The bedrooms each have plenty of privacy and are very comfortable. The host is an excellent communicator and goes out of her way to accommodate. We loved the home so much we've already inquired about our visit to CU next fall for Parents' Weekend!

We enjoyed having you stay at our home and hearing about your adventures in Boulder! And we would love to share our home again if you are ever in town for another concert or any other event.
2nd time renting this house as perfect for a group.
This was our second time we rented the house , it would have been our third but Covid interrupted that. Loved everything about it and Kristina the host was great to work with..
Highly recommended the house. The floor plan has great entertaining spaces and the deck provides ample space to dine or to chill at the firepit.
Great house for a group

Thank you so much for this amazing review. We are glad you had a comfortable and nice stay at our home. It was a pleasure hosting you and your family!
Kristina's property is wonderful. My family of 4, with 2 HS/college aged kids, loved our week there. It's perfectly set up for daily hikes at Chautauqua park and through the beautiful neighborhood. We fully utilized the well equipped kitchen, enjoyed evenings on the patio, and loved the game selection. We were there during a week of record-breaking heat, but the home was comfortable and cool. The unique layout feels very open, but also has plenty of private spaces. Highly recommend this home.

Amazing location, beautiful home and top notch service
Kristina was an excellent host and the house has everything and more. We celebrated parents weekend at CU and our daughters 18th Bday a few weeks ago and everything was perfect. We had 8 people stay and there was more than enough room for everyone, We went out to eat, went to a football game and cooked in one night and this home accommodated it all!! Would highly recommend...for anytime amount of time you would be spending in Boulder. We will be back!!

Wonderful home, great location, quiet and well appointed home
Well worth the money. Excellent hosts who responded very quickly. We booked last minute and felt so lucky to get this particular home. The location is just minutes from Chautauqua Park, our destination for climbing the Flat Irons, then a 2 minute drive to Pearl Street for evening treats. One hour to Rocky Mountain National Park, 45 minutes to Denver Airport. Quiet neighborhood, very clean home, great kitchen, and well stocked with spices, condiments, and cooking accessories that make a short stay so much easier.

Thank you for your awesome review. We try to provide our guests with as many convenient things as possible so they can truly sit back and enjoy! The kitchen is fully stocked - plenty of pans, baking dishes, utensils, spices and most anything else you may need!
My family could not have enjoyed our stay more at Kristina’s house. The house is beautiful and very clean. There are several areas in the home to relax and there are peaceful areas outside the house to enjoy-complete with hummingbirds! Kristina’s communication was excellent, she went above and beyond in this regard. Though close to everything Boulder has to offer, the house is set back, giving nice privacy and quiet. Thank you Kristina for making your home available! We loved it!

Great experience, perfect location, lovely property owne
We spent the weekend in Boulder to visit friends and family. The house is perfect - everything was extremely clean, fully stocked, and we didn't want for anything. Proximity is great for Pearl Street, hiking, and whatever else you want to do while you're in Boulder! Kristina provided us with a very useful information packet. The entire stay was very smooth, I definitely recommend renting this house if you need a spacious 3 bedroom in Boulder. The outdoor space is great, with an easy gas fire pit and bbq and two different decks, the master opens up to one level. There are two full living room areas (great for teenagers. and the 4 of us all had to work from home while there and we all had our own space). Can't' say enough good things - what a great experience!

This property was a perfect place to stay for a long weekend. We came into town for a CU football game and this house was perfect for enjoying the rest that the Boulder area has to offer and is walking distance to campus.
Booked this home fo our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) for 6 days. Beautiful property with many amenities. Great space for us with 2 living areas and 2 outdoor decks including gas fire pit and grill. Owners have thought of everything and are very responsive. Kitchen is well stocked. Walkable to Pearl Street in 1 direction and Chautauqua park in another - awesome location to take in all that beautiful Boulder has to offer! Walk to Farmer's Market on Saturday for breakfast and stock up on produce, coffee and other snacks for the week. Drive to Rocky Mountain National Park for amazing hikes and views. Local restaurants abound with ample outdoor seating, great food and drinks. Highly recommend!
This well-located beautiful home exceeded our expectations. It was perfect for our family with 2 college-aged children and my son’s girlfriend. It is a beautiful home filled with artwork (I think the work of the owner). It has all the kitchen utensils, cookware, propane grill, oils, spices, etc. that you need to cook meals and truly enjoy the home. The owners supply all the amenities you need to make your stay seamless - plush toweling, full-sized bath soaps, hand soaps, shampoo/conditioner, extra bedding, laundry detergent, etc. Kristina checked in with us and was easy to reach with any questions we had. We used the 2 outdoor seating areas and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We had views of the nearby Flatirons. This is easily one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in, and we will definitely stay here again if we travel to Boulder. This home had the best balance of making your feel as if you were staying in a luxurious home instead of a vacation rental, without feeling as if there were too much of their belongings (we had plenty of closet and drawer storage). We played several games from their large collection. Exceptional hosts!
This home is stunning and beautiful. Easily some of the best hosts I’ve ever experienced in any home-share scenario. Cannot recommend this property or this host enough.

The owner made everything so welcoming and easy for my family & I , we had the BEST THANKSGIVING!!
Amazing!
Excellent and unforgettable time at this beautiful home !!
Thank you so much K & J (owners ) for your wonderful hospitality, even if we never met in person, we felt welcome by you and very much at home.
We had a great visit to Colorado, and this was a beautiful home. I normally will not cook when I am traveling, but the kitchen in this home was a chef's dream and I found myself whipping up dinners quite a bit. The home was conveniently located, and close to the main venues.
Although I was only traveling with 2 other people, this home was very roomy and could easily accommodate a large family. The owners were pleasant to work with, and they even removed snow from my windshield one snowy morning. Lovely home!
We had a wonderful stay. The home was beautiful, very clean, and well stocked. Location was wonderful within walking distance of Pearl Street and the trails. The property managers were great with their communications. Highly recommend.
Not one negative thing. So many incredible features about this house -- beautiful art, comfortable furniture, full bath for each bedroom, every conceivable kitchen appliance and household appliance that you may need or want, close to downtown/Pearl Street and CU campus, etc.

About the host
Hosted by Kristina
We have lived in the area for many years. Both of us left our midwest roots in exchange for an active lifestyle and outdoor recreation. We love everything that Boulder has to offer!!
Why they chose this property
The area is amazing. We were looking for the feel of being in the mountains yet walking distance to town and Chautauqua hiking trails. Some days we do not even get in our car! The outdoor lifestyle is perfect with access to countless trails. We enjoy dinner and drinks at the many restaurants and coffee shops nearby. It has a private feel since the home is set back from the street and is hidden by over a dozen old pine trees.
What makes this property unique
The property feels very private even though it is located conveniently in the city. The proximity to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, hiking trails and the campus makes it a desirable property. The entire house has been gutted and remodeled in the last several years making it a modern comfortable home.
