About the host
Hosted by Melhiem/Albert
I grew up in Hershey, PA in the US and moved to CA after graduating college to pursue a Master’s Degree. After years of working in the tech industry, owning a Los Angeles based tech firm, I switched gears to pursue my growing 2 passions...real estate and the mountains. I began purchasing fixer properties in mountain areas and along with my partner, Michael, transformed them into unique and trendy spaces. For years I owned long term investment properties. In 2016 I made the switch to vacation rentals, seeing the opportunity to both enjoy these beautiful spaces and also share them with others from around the world. Adventure is in my blood. My 3rd passion is traveling and connecting with fellow travelers, sharing unique experiences along the way.
Why they chose this property
I chose the King's Ridge neighborhood because it is conveniently located just a mile from the center of Boulder and across the street from the Foothills Parkway and Ucar bike and walking paths. I believe in having a day off from driving and the bike/walking paths provide an excellent alternative to driving for errands, shopping, restaurants, etc. Just at the end of the street is Christensen Park with a playground, picnic tables, and access to the bike path that runs next to a lovely creek. Further down the path is the Valmont bike park.
