Overall the apartment was great, pictures of the apartment look same. The only downside was it advertised Aircondition. But there was no AC. So it was a little hot. But overall everything was good.
This apartment is lovely and very secure. It is a short walk from the river and from the Elizabeth Line station (near historical sites and restaurants) and we were able to get from Heathrow and all around London by either rail or bus, very easily. Just one warning: there are no electrical outlets in the bathroom (probably a code issue here) but there are no mirrors anywhere else in the flat so you'll be styling your hair blind. A couple of napkins or some paper towels would have been helpful but that's a minor issue. Overall, a beautiful experience.
We were looking for a nicer place to stay for our anniversary trip and this certainly fit the bill. Very nice, very clean, very new.
One negative is that it’s a little far out from the main London attractions. So everything took a little longer to get to. But the tube station serving this area is just a 10 minute walk, so aside from linger tube rides, it’s not really that big of a deal. You just have to plan to take a little longer to get anywhere.
Finding the exact building and getting checked in was a little difficult- there’s a lot of construction in the area and it was hard to pinpoint which building was the correct one. But once we did, it was a nice stay.
Overall, we really enjoyed flat. It is clean, modern, and roomy. The only concerns (which are not severe enough to mean that we would not stay again) are:
1. The owners manual for the laundry washer/dryer does not explain the cycles for the machine.
2. The bathroom has two issues:
2a. There are no electric outlets )for using a hair dryer for instance).
2b. The tub has extremely high sides and no grab bars. For those of us over the age of 70, that presents a challenge in safely getting out of the tub after a shower.
2c. This is not a problem exactly, but the shower head sprays at strange angles so that water exits the tub area.
Because we enjoyed the facility overall, I hesitated in bringing up these issues. But, especially with respect to the difficulty in exiting the tub, I decided that management should be made aware of the situation.
