Thanks Christopher! Please come again with your family next time you're visiting London...
Lovely location - suited us down to the ground as we wanted to be close to Highgate and needed a parking space. shame that we did'nt spend more time there as we had a busy schedule planned.
Clean, lovely, beautiful stove & modern kitchen space. If you’re staying during hot weather, request fans from the host for the bedrooms at night as there is no A/C, but that’s the norm in the area. Steep steps, so might not be the best option if you have very young kids, but for teens and adults, this is an utterly lovely spot for a stay. The host lives right next door and was very responsive to our requests for fans and help with WiFi when we were there.
The pictures on VRBO do not tell the whole story of this charming property in Highgate. There is a nice sitting room—with TV—as one enters the front door for starters. The bathroom is brand new and includes a good size tub for those of us who enjoy a good soak. The garden in the back is a nice oasis when the sun shines. The kitchen has everything one would need. Finally, a rare and vital off street parking space exists right in front of the red door. My wife and I recently stayed for 5 nights and the rental experience could not have gone more smoothly. The owner was lovely and lives next door, although we only met her once. All in all, a great property in a very desirable part of London. Highly recommend!

Thank you Jeffrey for being great guests. I appreciate your excellent feedback and for leaving the cottage spotless. Please come back any time!
We loved our stay in this cottage! I do want to give some tips if you are American and visiting. There are some great plugs in this house that use USB A and C, so that helped so much with adapters for us. We were surprised that there were no washcloths or top sheets in our linen supplies, but that, I think, is local custom, so just be aware. There is not a coffee pot here, in the traditional sense, but there is a small Keurig-style machine. I could not source pods in the small local stores, but its easy enough to bring a few if you know about this. There is also a mocha pot that confounded me. I just drank tea quite happily. Bus is right outside the door, it does take about 40 minutes to get to central london destinations using bus/tube, but it was quite easy to figure out. It was hot during our visit, but the fans provided made it tolerable and the house is charming enough I did not care.

Thanks Michelle for your constructive comments. Yes, it is quite normal to have beds made up with fitted sheets and duvets in duvet covers. As it has been a heat wave we were happy to provide extra top sheets. We also undrstood that you broke one if the coffee pots - these things happen - so no problem. All the best for your onward journey
