The location was excellent! We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see, and it is conveniently situated between the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Basilica.Alberta was a wonderful host and communicator. She stayed in touch through WhatsApp, met us in person despite our late arrival, and was always available whenever we needed assistance. She even went above and beyond by making multiple phone calls on our behalf to help locate our luggage when it did not arrive from Rome to Venice.Previous reviews regarding street noise are accurate; however, closing the wooden shutters at night significantly reduced the noise. The apartment also has air conditioning, so it remained comfortable without needing to keep the windows open. The bed was a little firmer than we prefer, but others may find it comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with the dishes and essentials we needed, although there is no stovetop, only a microwave. In the bathroom, only small bottles of shampoo/body wash were provided, so guests may wish to bring their own conditioner.Overall, this property offered excellent value for the location. The combination of a central location, attentive host, and reasonable price made it a worthwhile stay, and we would happily recommend it to others visiting Venice.
