Skylark - a beach house that sleeps 5 guests in 2 bedrooms

Skylark Beach House is situated on Blue Anchor Road, a favourite location with Bay regulars as it is close to the beach, tennis court, playground and village centre, but also very private.

Enter through the side door into the spacious open plan living area. To the left is the large kitchen with all the appliances you need. To the right is the dining space with extendable table and seating for 4-8. And in front, is the living area, with corner sofa and armchair, coffee table, log burner and TV/DVD.

From the living space, there are large bifold doors onto the fully-enclosed front deck (with gate to the path), ideal for catching the morning and afternoon sun.

Down the hall, there are two bedrooms. Main bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite wet room with rainfall shower and second bedroom with full-size twin beds (can be joined to make a superking on request), and ensuite bathroom with a bath and rainfall shower over.

Off-road parking with EV charger for 2 cars side by side. Log burner and underfloor heating make Skylark beach house cosy for breaks all year round. Ceiling and portable fans in all rooms too.

The property has little extras like TVS in the lounge and bedrooms, and a Tassimo coffee machine. Lots of games and beach equipment so you can pack light.

Short Stay at Skylark

We had a lovely stay and found the Skylark beach house very well equipped, clean and it even had a 'mud daddy' so we could wash our dogs after being on the beach. The location is excellent and we would definitely consider staying there again.

Fantastic Spacious Beach House in Ideal Location

Fantastic beach house that has everything you could need without being cluttered. It is really well maintained and everything is high quality e.g. beds, appliances, tv etc. Love the large decking at the back and the spacious seating at the front. Close to the pool and pub and easy access to the beach path. Perfect

Our third perfect stay

Once again, we had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing stay at Skylark. It is such a comfortable, bright and airy property with everything you could wish for in the kitchen and throughout. The customer service from Paula was excellent as ever and any queries were answered immediately. We are very much looking forward to returning.

Very Comfortable Accomodation with Excellent Location

This is our 4th stay at the Skylark. We normally take our two dogs with us and enjoy the walks up and down the coast. Its very near the leisure centre, pub and shop, with a short walk to the Filey beach. The accomodation is very spacious , clean and modern. Allocated Car parking is outside and has an EV charger. We will return at some time.

Lovely get away

This is the second time we have stayed at Skylark it’s so homely and has all the home from home comforts so much we have booked for a 3rd stay. Paula is excellent and is swift in her response if you need anything. I can definitely recommend staying here.

Fabulous - home from home

Wonderfully equipped and comfortable beach lodge in superb location. Love the two bedroom two bathroom set up - works well for couples. The main kitchen, dining area and lounge is a warm sociable space - great for chilly evenings. Owner has made this home from home with everything you can possibly want or need! From condiments to shampoo, from books and games to dishwasher tablets…. Would highly recommend and will be returning soon!

A fabulous place to stay!

We had a lovely stay at Skylark. It was like a home from home with all you needed and with an added level of luxury. It was clean, spacious, light and airy with lots of outdoor seating. Having stayed at The Bay a few times, this was by far the best accommodation particularly as there were a couple of little ones who could enjoy the space. I am sure we will be back.

Wonderful min break

We had the most wonderful time at Skylark. The accommodation had everything we needed and more, you can tell the owner has thought of everything to make it easier for her guests during their stay. Lots to do around the area too and the beach is a short walk away.

Lovely beach chalet

Skylark is such a charming beach chalet. The sea side decor is lovely throughout the chalet. The chalet has plenty of books, games and beach equipment too. Outside pace is private and there are chairs out front and out the back to catch morning and afternoon sunshine (if you're lucky!).
