About this property

A pet friendly, two bedroom spacious and light cottage with FREE high-speed fibre Wi-Fi, situated on a purpose built 5-star holiday complex. The ground floor of the cottage provides an open plan family living, dining and kitchen area along with a cloakroom and entrance hall. The contemporary styled living area features a log-burning stove and gliding bi-fold patio door, opening onto a paved patio area. A brick-built barbecue and wooden patio furniture provide the ultimate alfresco dining experience. A high chair and travel cot are provided for our younger guests.

A selection of books, games, DVD's and Wii games will entertain whatever the weather, providing a fantastic family experience.

Relax in a king sized bed; bedroom with Juliet balcony and one bedroom with two singles. Bathroom has a walk-in shower.

A lovely house within a beautiful and well equipped complex. The house had everything we needed and more and the on-site pool was great, nice and warm and spacious. We also enjoyed the pétanque court. Filey and Scarborough are really beautiful with huge sandy beaches. I’m hoping to return soon!

Lovely stay at Nigel’s property. Clean, comfortable and even a welcome pack for us with biscuits and tea, coffee etc. Have stayed at The Bay a few times and this house was one of the best we have stayed in.Even the weather was kind to us!

We had an excellent stay at Beach Haven Cottage. Perfect for a family stay. The accommodation was very clean & comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped & it was an added bonus to have some baby items provided & games for entertainment. Great location & onsite facilities in the village. Definitely on our list to return!

Very good communication with the host. The house and amenities brilliant and close to shop and pub. It was lovely to be home from home. Absolutely amazing and would recommend to others. The only negative was no hot water after 9am so partner unable to have a wash or shower.

Hi Sarah - thanks for your fabulous review - really pleased you enjoyed yourselves. I have not had any issues reported over hot water before, but to be clear, the boiler is timed to provide to provide at least two full tanks of hot water per day, In case of excessive use or if you do use more than a tank full, there is an immersion heater, or if you had contacted me, I could have extended the water heating times for you. Look forwards to hearing from you again next time you fancy a seaside break. Thanks Nigel

We have just returned from a 2 night stay. It was fabulous, the house is in a good position not far from all the amenities. The house was spotless and had everything you could possibly need to have a home from home experience. The icing on the cake was that the ower very kindly offered us early check in and late check out which we really appreciated We would highly recommend this property and hope to return soon

We live in Derbyshire with our two teenage sons and cairn terrier. Our cairn terrier loves the beach and wildflower meadow walks, our sons love the gym, the pool and the many other activities on The Bay and we enjoy the fact that everyone else is having a great time.

Why they chose this property

You will not be short of things to do if you are looking for an active break; choose from cycling, golf, fishing, archery. tennis, kayaking, swimming, gym and more. Then relax over a game of pool in the John Paul Jones Pub.
If you prefer a more relaxed break, after a stroll along the beach, pamper yourself in the onsite leisure complex sauna and beauty room before a friendly game of boules and slow bar-be-que back at the cottage.

What makes this property unique

This cottage is in a great location on The Bay complex. It is light and airy; you will just go into "holiday mode" the moment you walk through the door.

We accept up to two well behaved dogs.
