Situated overlooking Whipsiderry Beach, sadly the steps to Whipsiderry are temporarily closed, but it is only a short walk to Porth Beach or Watergate Bay, this 2 bedroom cool coastal contemporary apartment is superb, and is the ideal surf retreat, light and airy, set in a perfect spot, in a area of outstanding natural beauty, overlooking the sea, and a central spot for exploring the wonderful, rugged coast and beautiful Poldark Country. The apartment has been recently decorated with new flooring and furnished to a tasteful extremely high standard, with modern comfortable sofas, large 55 inch curved screen TV, music system and many extras. You will need to use an electronic key fob to gain entry into the block along with the added benefit of allocated secure parking for one car in the basement The apartment has a large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner fantastic bi-fold doors that fully open onto a delightful balcony overlooking the sea, giving you a feel of complete open space, where on warm barmy nights you can sip your wine. the apartment is equipped to the highest standard, with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is fully equipped with white gloss units, oven, ceramic hob, Integral washing/dryer machine, integral fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, etc. and beautiful granite worktops and games for the children. Free Wi-Fi for the guests. The luxury bathroom and en-suite are both fully tiled and have power showers, plenty of storage space and soft fluffy white towels provided. Please bring your own towels for the beach. Should the need arise the apartment has underfloor heating with thermostats in each room. The bedrooms have fully fitted mirrored wardrobes, and there is a utility room for the storage of you cases. There is also a surf cage in the car park for use to store wetsuits, surf boards, etc. The apartment is situated on the ground floor, in a non smoking complex, with the choice of stairs or a lift if coming up from the underground car park or a ramp if entering from the road. Although in a quiet location it is easy to reach many of Cornwall's main towns and attractions. It is an excellent base for exploring Cornwall. Although you don't have to go far as so many fantastic beaches right on the doorstep, the apartment is situated opposite Whipsiderry Beach, and just 4 mins walk to Porth Beach. There are numerous places of Interest locally including many National Trust properties, St Michaels Mount, Landhydrock House, Trerice House, Bedruthan Steps, Crantock Beach. On the other hand you are only minutes away from Newquay with it's wonderful Surfing beaches - Fistral where the international and national competitions are held, golf club, pubs, spas, wine bars, restaurants and Newquay Zoo. If you are feeling energetic, you can always hire a bike [electric bikes now available at Porth Beach] and cycle the Camel trail. Across the road from the apartment are magnificent cliff top walks, and turning to the left you can walk across to Porth Island a bronze age burial site or turning right you can walk to Watergate Bay approx. 1 mile. I can highly recommend a stroll along the cliff in the morning, or evening and watch the amazing sunsets. You get a feeling of complete safety and relaxation whilst staying at the apartment. Newquay Airport is 2.8 miles away should you wish to fly down also Newquay Station is approx. 1.5 miles away with links from London, Watergate Bay is approximately 1 mile away, where you can join the Surf school or dine overlooking the beach. Locally there are numerous restaurants, and a good choice of major supermarkets in Newquay. A fantastic spot for exploring Cornwall. The apartment is cleaned after each guest leaves.
