Situated in the open countryside with things to do locally and also a close drive to York or Beverley with numerous tourist attractions, Minster, Yorvik Centre, Various museums including Railway museum and Castle museum. Open top bus rides and boat trips along the river ouse with lots of bars and restaurants. Locally you have the Elvington Air museum, Allerthorpe water park and Gliding club at Pocklington along with various golf clubs in the area nearest being KP Club in Pocklington or The Oaks at Ellerton. On the foot of the Yorkshire wolds with lots of scenic drives.
