A perfect home from home in a quiet location only 15 minutes walk from the city centre. The property was impeccably clean and so tastefully decorated. Communication with the owners was outstanding. We will definitely be back.

The location is brilliant. Parking is just a few metres from the the front door. The home was immaculate and welcoming. Bed was super comfy. Communication was prompt, professional and friendly. It was, quite simply, one of the best stays we have had.

We had a fabulous stay for 5 nights and could not have asked for better! Hosts are delightful - easy to communicate with, clear with information and helpful with local recommendations etc.The house was perfect - clean, well equipped, comfortable rooms.Location is also excellent, literally around the corner to the national railway museum which was a big hit with our son, and very close to get in and out of town with ease. We all agreed we would happily stay here again.

Excellent property in great location

We stayed here for 2 nights with our daughters (4 adults) to attend a graduation ceremony. It was perfect for our needs - great location with the bonus of parking and being next to the railway station. Very peaceful and the facilities were excellent. We were made to feel very welcome. We would recommend and would definitely stay there again when visiting York

Light and Spotlessly Clean

Spotlessly clean, well-equipped, light house in a quiet area. Absolutely ideal base for seeing the sights in York. Hosts are super-friendly and respond quickly to messages. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed this beautiful two bedroom property in a quiet section of York near the train station. The hosts were very friendly and communicated with us frequently. They left us a lovely welcome basket, coffee supplies, and milk in the fridge. The property is beautifully furnished and finished.

The property was spotlessly clean with tasteful decor. The hosts kept in touch and answered all questions immediately and helpfully. No issues with parking as neither my sister or I drive however due to new road construction the bus service I had looked into before our arrival wasn't available We realise that not many people rely on public transport these days but it took us all week to work out the quickest route into the city. Even the Tourist Information Centre had no idea of the changes to the bus routes!! This of course is not the hosts problem as they couldn't have been more helpful.
