The stay was wonderful—comfortable and beautifully maintained. The location in Dolwyddelan is truly special, nestled in the stunning Snowdonia mountains with rich history including the nearby 13th-century Dolwyddelan Castle. The tranquility of the village offers a peaceful retreat, while being just a short drive from the charming town of Betws-y-Coed, perfect for exploring local shops and cafes. This spot perfectly blends natural beauty and convenience for an unforgettable getaway

Lovely cottage in the heart of Snowdonia

Great location, very clean and lovely setting for the cottage. Everything as described and the hot tub was a great bonus. Parking could be a little challenging if any mobility issues given the steepness of the hill and the kitchen was a little small - but all consistent with accommodation description.

Great little cottage

Lovely cottage in brilliant location. As we walked inside I knew we'd definitely enjoy our stay....and we did. Pub down the road served great food and friendly staff. Walking distance to bus stop, and only short drive to the places we wanted to go. Nothing much really, I'd say leave a note on cottage page stating to bring own hot tub towels.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely little village, the space was perfect for a relaxing long weekend with friends. We enjoyed the hot tub and the local pub is a short walk away and served a lovely dinner. We enjoyed walks along the river from the property, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen although small was adorable with the view out to the garden and the stream that runs under the window and perfect for what we needed. The lane is quiet so the parking available was ideal, overall a seamless trip with good communication from the host.

Great place stay - shame it wasn't ready

Very comfortable - not fussy We arrived at 6.00pm to find the cleaning incomplete. Seems the housekeeper hadn't been to informed of our booking. Out of hours for Finest Retreats - fortunately the Housekeepers number was inside the cottage.
