Once a farmhouse, this charming villa offers a great combination of modern day amenities and an old-world atmosphere. Situated in a secluded country road offering beautiful views overlooking Mgarr harbour and within easy distance of Qala and Nadur, Farmhouse Ta Mounsey offers tasteful accommodation enhanced by traditional stone features and furnishings. The open-planned kitchen/dining/living opens out to the large stretched swimming pool and sundeck area. When you want to enjoy the evening sun, a barbecue awaits by the pool - great for outdoor dining. Rooms are pleasantly furnished with all the essentials to create welcoming comfort, and a spiral staircase leads up to the upstairs bedrooms, two with balcony and an affordable view.

The property is lovely, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The pool is fantastic and there are plenty of pool loungers. The location is ideal, walking distance from great restraunts and bars and beautiful views.

Wonderful holiday in lovely town!

We enjoyed having the house with all we needed in this quiet town location. Used the beautiful pool every day, although in April the water was cold it was still a treat to swim! Great bar in Nadur town too!

The property is in a perfect location for exploring Gozo. We found it easy to jump on the local buses and we also jumped on the fast ferry to Valleta twice. The pool was amazing. Thank you.

a great family option

A peaceful gem – perfect for a family holiday!We had a wonderful stay at Mounsey 1 Farmhouse near Nadur. The property is beautifully restored, spacious, and full of character, with a fantastic private pool and sun terrace that our whole family loved. The open-plan layout made it ideal for relaxing together, and each bedroom having its own en-suite was a real bonus.It’s in a quiet, scenic location, which makes it perfect for unwinding – but do note that a car is definitely essential if you want to explore the island or get to shops and beaches easily. Nadur and Qala are nearby and full of charm, with lovely bakeries and restaurants.The hosts were helpful and responsive, and the house had everything we needed. It felt like a true home away from home.We will certainly hope to return in the future – highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful family escape in Gozo!

Convenient location near ferry to malta

Lovely property & pool in a convenient location near the ferry terminal to mainland Malta. Really close to the town of qala which has restaurants & bars in the centre. The kitchen, which was very small, didn’t really have enough cooking utensils in it. So if you’re planning to cook a lot of meals this isn’t the place for you. The pool & pool area were spacious & there were just enough sun beds for the 5 of us in our party. The property backs onto a stable & farm so there are a lot of horse noises coming from next door but, once you get used to it, it didn't bother us. An extra fan was provided in the downstairs living area to help with the heat which was much appreciated. The ceiling fan in the main bedroom was really good too & kept us cool at night but the other two rooms ceiling fans didn’t work as well. Both balconies gave stunning sea views. All bedrooms come with en-suite which were clean & adequate. Only thing that was disappointing was that some of the towels, although clean, were abit stained. Overall I would definitely recommend this property to a friend & would stay again.
