What a lovely stay we had. House was in a brilliant position, with wonderful views of the ocean, very short walk to the beach and even a park and playground literally next door. Brilliant for the dog and kids. 100% recommend.

Amazing views which added to our enjoyment of some excellent weather. Host is very responsive and kind. Beds are super comfy and pillows too. For a big group the layout and number of showers and boat brooms is perfect. The location is perfect and all in all this house ticked all the boxes for us over New Year. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at Sun Set Beach house. The weather unfortunately was lousy, but the house was very cosy and allowed us to spend time together as a family without the usual distractions. Location was great with a few minutes walk into Porthleven. But be aware the walk back takes a little longer as it’s up hill.

Great place in every way. The house had plenty of room. The house was well stocked. The view was amazing and the little town of Porthleven is charming. We created sweet family memories that will remain with us. Thank you!

Fabulous Porthleven Getaway

This was a fantastic property for our family. We all had room to spread out. It has the best equipped kitchen ever! including some pantry basics (which was very helpful) We loved the location and the off street parking. This home was very comfortable for our 9 night stay.

Thomson’s Stay

Great holiday in Cornwall staying at this house. Bryan was a great host, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The house has been decorated beautifully, beds are comfortable and kitchen in great! Everything you could possibly need for a great holiday. Location was much better than we could have imagined and the harbour of Porthleven had everything you need and more. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

We had a fabulous stay at this property. We spent most of our time in the glorious living area admiring the view of the ocean and loved the short walk down to the beach. The kitchen was really well equipped, but we did miss a microwave (only for catering for the children). It was lovely to have a the main area "TV free", meaning we were able to enjoy board games and reading without that distraction. We didn't use the garden area much as we were out most days but the washing facilities were great, as well as being able to hang out clothes to dry on the line. The house was really well furnished and the linen/towels were really nice quality. As a multi-generational group, the divide of bathrooms/bedrooms across the floors meant everyone got their own space. We had to keep an eye on the younger children when they got near to the top of the stairs but we found the house relatively child friendly (for 2/3/5 yr olds). A couple of the bedrooms didn't have much storage, so we kept clothes in suitcases/shared hanging space where we could. That being said, it didn't detract from our stay and we'd love to visit again.
