We are genuinely sorry that some aspects of your stay were disappointing, and we understand how important it is to arrive at a clean and comfortable home, especially for guests with allergies. We certainly do not want to deny that the apartment was not in the condition it should have been when you arrived. We sincerely apologized as soon as you brought this to our attention and immediately offered to send someone to the apartment to carry out an additional cleaning. Unfortunately, despite our repeated offer, you preferred not to have anyone enter the apartment. We completely respected your decision. We also wanted to show our good faith by providing you with a refund for the inconvenience caused. Regarding the noise, we are sorry that it affected your sleep. The apartment is located in the heart of Stresa, which is a lively and popular tourist town with many bars, restaurants and shops nearby. This central location is something many of our guests appreciate, but we also understand that it can sometimes mean more activity and noise, particularly during busy periods. The opening hours of the local businesses are regulated by the applicable laws, and unfortunately we cannot control their closing times or the behavior of people in the surrounding area, including conversations or music coming from nearby establishments. We are truly sorry that these circumstances made your stay less enjoyable than you had hoped. We always try to respond promptly when an issue is brought to our attention and, in this case, we did our best to offer a practical solution as well as compensation for the inconvenience. Thank you for your feedback. We are glad that you appreciated the apartment’s central location and that everything was within walking distance. As for the mattresses, we will certainly share your comments with the property owner for further consideration. However, we would like to point out that we had not received similar complaints previously, so your feedback will help us bring this matter to the owner's attention. Regarding the tap water, tap water in Italy is generally safe to drink and subject to quality controls. However, we do not manage the public water supply or its infrastructure and therefore cannot take responsibility for the condition of the municipal pipes. Nevertheless, we take your observation about the colour and smell seriously, as water should not appear brown or smell of rust, and we recommend that this be checked by the relevant parties. FInally, about the noise from the Camelot Bar, we are sorry that the late-night farewells disturbed your sleep. As you can imagine, what happens outside the property and how people behave on the street are beyond our control. Especially if you book in the city center! Thank you again for your comments.
