For larger parties — especially family groups — the neighbouring Tom's Nest sister apartment (sleeps 2 in one double bedroom) or the Penny Steps house (which sleeps up to nine) can be booked for convenience, subject to availability.

Poppin has a classical charm that calls back to halcyon days, but also provides various appliances for modernity, ease and comfort. The property's windows provide plenty of natural light throughout the apartment, complementing its easy neutral colourings and sunny seaside accent pieces. It is not suitable for those with mobility impairments. There are 15 steps from pavement level to the communal ground-floor front door, from which there is an inside flight of 17 stairs to the first floor to access the apartment. Pets are also not permitted at this property.

In order to unpack on arrival and re-pack upon departure, there is a 15-minute loading/unloading space outside the property. If you anticipate taking longer than this, someone must stay in the car at all times, or the property's parking at the Brixham Marina multi-storey is only two minutes' walk away. A permit is provided for the duration of your stay, but must be left at the property upon departure. Failure to do so will incur a replacement charge on your security deposit. The car park is secured by number plate recognition cameras, and presents a large saving on local parking, which can infamously be scarce in the summer months.
